These people are a few of the most important people (as well as rude and snotty!) in your daughter's life! Talking to them will raise her popularity...here are some tips.

This guy is your friendly palace guard! He talks to you everytime you come to the palace and when you talk to him...he looks for refinement and decorum. As your skills grow in that the higher popularity points you'll recieve ever time you speak with him. He'll tell you to talk to someone else when your popularity hits 40

The royal guard, he looks for the same qualities as the palace guard does but it's tougher to get past him thus your skills must be higher in those two things. He'll tell you to talk to someone more important when your popularity hits 90.

The General! If you can see he also teaches the strategy class. He also looks for refinement and decorum but higher. Also try to have a little bit of sensitivity with him although in his class you lose yours. Move on at 190 points.

Here's the Minisiter of State! He too wants someone who's refined and has decorum but he also likes intelligent people - - which is very frustrating to those not-so-bright girls out there so head out to the pawn shop for some books!!! He'll ask you to talk elsewhere at 310

Arch Bishop, like the minister of state the arch bishop has his like given out one point for each 10. And being a bishop he looks for faith (shocked?) This is also the guy who judges mainly for the king in the art festival. You'll be past him once you hit 430 popularity points.

This is the royal concubine in all her beauty! Ah..well she's actually pretty pointless if you ask me. Since the king is so old she looks for someone to talk to, and you need good conversation before you can pass her. The only way to gain conversation is to work at one of the bars.... She'll shoo you off at 550 if you can get that far. If your daughter only has 1 conversation I'd skip her.

The queen, and aren't you tired of all this !? Well the queen wants you to be polite of course (decorum) but what she really looks for is temperment. Temperment can only be gained by having your daughter work at home, and if your daughter hasn't then she takes a long time to clear!! But if you got through the Concubine not quite as long as she'll tell you to talk to someone else at around 590

His majesty, the king. He's really into fights and what not so if your daughter's the fighting type then hooray! If not...well you've got a lotta talking to do. He looks for everything fighting, however, Combat attack, skill, defence AND if you have any reputation for fighting too. This will go quickly if your daughter's the hero type. He'll tell you to talk to the everyone else once you hit about 880 or so.

I present to you - the laughing stalk of the kingdom - the jester! He takes a while before he'll talk to you and is quite rude until your daughter is polite enough. He doesn't help your popularity any though, -15 infact but you also get +15 in sensitivity...it's really your call.

The mysterious "young officer" that's only at the palace in January. If you're lucky you'll discover he's really the prince and in love with your daughter!! He doesn't require anything to talk to and will never turn you down. You have to work really hard if you want to marry him - talk to him every January.
