| From the first time I visited the zoo I was fascinated with elephants. I watched the zoo keeper washing an elephant and I told my grandparents that I was going to be an "elephant washer" when I grew up. Well I'm not an elephant washer today but I still feel a close affection for these graceful creatures. I even got to ride one once when the circus came to my small town. It was an event I am unlikely to ever forget. Now every year on my birthday my husband takes me to visit the zoo, and the main attraction for me is the wonderful elephant show! You wouldn't believe what they can make those elephants do. It is amazing. You even get to pet the elephant after the show which is really awesome. Elephants are prickly! =0) I also got to see a bunch of elephants on the Disney World Safari Ride in Animal Kingdom. It shows you how they live in their natural environment. It was really nice. Even now when I think about it I would still be an elephant washer if the position were open! Disney are you hiring? I'd work on the Pooh ride too (see next page) I guess the reason I am so awed by elephants is because they are graceful as well as immense. And nobody ever looks fat standing next to an elephant! =0) |
