Kaolinite makes her first appearance during Sailor Moon S, episode 89/90(anime), and Act 24 of the manga. She is Professor Tomoe's assistant and the first villian in the third season to attack the sailor senshi with Diamons (and her hair). In episode 102, she is killed after the senshi use their "Sailor Planet Attack" (which weakens her) and is pushed off of the edge of Tokyo Tower by Sailor Uranus's "World Shaking" attack. She is presumed dead by the sailor senshi, and the Witches 5, are introduced as Kaolinite's replacements (in the manga, Kaolinite is the leader of the Witches 5, and they work directly under her supervision).
It is presumed she is dead, until halfway through the season when she reapears again as "Kaoli", Professor Tomoe's maid and care taker for Hotaru, his daughter (who hates her with a passion just as much as Kaoli hates her), who she does not get along with at all. The reason for this differs between the two of them, Hotaru not liking her because she doens't like having her as a "replacement" mother, and the fact that Kaoli is constantly trying to gain her father's affection. Kaoli on the other hand dislikes Hotaru because she feels she is a barrier between herself and the professor, and that he pays more attention to Hotaru.
She dislikes the Witched 5 just as much as she hates Hotaru (if not more) because they mock her for having no real purpose in the mission other than Professor Tomoe's maid/housekeeper (they also make fun of her affection for Tomoe-sensai). She fell in love with Professor Tomoe, and would do anything to make him happy, which results in her becoming "Kaolinite" once again, in episode 121 when he says he wants the "old" version of the way she was before she died back. However, she is killed by Mistress 9 in episode 123, having quote on quote "Outlived her usefulness"(in the manga, she is killed by Sailor Moon's attack after she transforms into a Diamon and attacks the senshi). |
