NARRATOR: (GAME ON!)
NARRATOR: (k go now)
CIMORENE: NARRATOR: Ipal:we rest then? It is still night.
CIMORENE: *she bows her head and nods, moving to sit underneath the window*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Yes Ipal you can rest. I will be staying up*you feel his eyes on you now*. I shall finish our watching.
CIMORENE: *she winces and buries her head in her arms, leaning back against the wall*
NARRATOR: *ipal fairly swiftly goes to sleep after a glance at you*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich sits up against the bottom of Ipals bed looking to the door and thinking*
CIMORENE: *she speaks softly in Elven* My lord.... I would understand if you were to leave us and join your master in Gondor... this is not your problem or task, and the last thing you need is someone's ill judgement putting you in danger...
NARRATOR: *Ulrich holds his free hand up to you to silence you, the other is clutching his staff, ready to be used*
NARRATOR: *he says nothing...*
CIMORENE: *she tenses, reaching for her bow and watching the door*
NARRATOR: *the distant gibberish does not change from normal*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich just sits there thinking*
NARRATOR: (do you do anything?)
CIMORENE: *she relaxes and goes back to her position of leaning against the wall, sitting beneath the window. She doesn't allow herself to sleep, merely sits and thinks*
NARRATOR: *it is like that till sun-up with Ulrich*
CIMORENE: *she dozes finally an hour before sunrise, praying that she does not dream*
NARRATOR: (d6)
CIMORENE: (2)
NARRATOR: *you do not dream*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich wakes you after it appears he and Ipal have been up for sometie*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Wake up Cimorene.*he is serious but composed*
CIMORENE: *she waken groggily, not having slept very well. She blinks up at Ulrich, then slides her eyes away from his, unable to meet his gaze*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:You are still repentant yes?
CIMORENE: *she nods as she stands, still not looking at him or Ipal*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Then allow me to be perfectly blunt. I do not care for your neglegance Cimorene, not at all. I think what you did was reckless and could have gotten myself and Ipal slain.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:If it were up to me I would leave you here and now.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:But I have become somewhat neccesary to this since we met Igiwi.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:My leaving you now arouses his suspicians too much. If you lose his trust as well, you may lose hope for your task.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Do you understand me Cimorene the Violet?
CIMORENE: *she stands to her full height and looks him straight in the eye* My Lord, your guidance has always been appreciated and understood. I would hate to lose you on this journey, but I think that I could manage without you should you feel so inclined to leave.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I feel so inclined but no so much that I will actually leave just yet.
CIMORENE: *she bows, a little stiffly* Then I will be glad for yur company.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Good then it is decided.*he turns to his few posessions on the floor in the corner of the room*
NARRATOR: Ipal:*happy*Good morning Lady!
CIMORENE: *she cannot return the happy smile* I am going to check on the horses, *She says a little flatly*. I will meet you two downstairs in the common room. *she casts a slight glance over at Ulrich*
NARRATOR: *ulrich is not even looking your way*
CIMORENE: *she sighs and heads out the door and down to the common room without looking back*
NARRATOR: *it is surprisingly not busy*
NARRATOR: *bar-keeper is there and Igiwi is at the same table with a bottle or two, empty, on it. He looks to have been up all night*
CIMORENE: *she glances around for the men from last night, then moves outside*
NARRATOR: *they cannot be found*
NARRATOR: *outside looks like the town has not woken up either*
NARRATOR: *it is quiet and dark from clouds and still quite windy*
CIMORENE: *she glances towards the stable and shivers, not wanting to see the surely dead man inside and instead looks over at the water again. humming a lament to the dead in Elven*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*from behind you*Are you alright?
CIMORENE: *she turns to look at him, then turns back away quickly* No. My friends were attacked last night.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*sounding concerned*Are they alright? Is there something I can do?
CIMORENE: No. The men were looking for me. They were the ones I asked you about last night. I... caused by friends to be hurt, and now they despise me for it.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*confused*How were you a part of their misfortune? You do not seem like an accomplice to such vermin.
CIMORENE: I left my post... left them sleeping there, all alone, to see if our belongings had been stolen. They had no warning at all... I don't know why I'm even telling you this. *tears fall unbidden from her eyes, and she again misses her brother*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*in a comforting tone*There now, i am sure that it was not your intention to have them harmed.*puts his hands on your shoulders to try to rub out tension*
NARRATOR: *he seems VERY genuine*
CIMORENE: *she yanks her shoulder from him, shrinking away almost in fear* No! Please... don't touch me. I don't like it here... I just want to leave. This place is cruel and frightening, and brutal!
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*still genuine*You are not alright. *Walks into your vision range now* What are you going to do now?
CIMORENE: *she stares over at the stables* Check on the horses... see if he is still there....
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Would you mind if I accompanied you? You sound very shaken up...
CIMORENE: *she smiles at him for a moment, then nods* If you wouldn;t mind. I would like to have someone who doesn't think I'm a total waste of time... *she begins walking slowly towards the stables*
NARRATOR: *Igiwi does not respond and follows, you hear his huge bastard sword draw*
NARRATOR: *at the doorway of the stables the door is still open*
CIMORENE: *she tenses and turns to look at him, one hand already clenching into a fist for a spell*
NARRATOR: *there is a trail of blood leading around the corner outside*
NARRATOR: *Igiwi seems ready to protect you with both hands wielding the massive blade*
CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times and glances at the blood* So... he did survive at least a little longer....
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*puts a hand to you*Stay here, I will see if there is danger.*goes towards the corner*
CIMORENE: *she follows anyway, not willing to let a stranger be in danger because of her*
NARRATOR: (observe check)
CIMORENE: (16)
NARRATOR: *you somewhat notice elvish script on his blade*
NARRATOR: *he rounds the corner*
CIMORENE: *follows slowly, very unsure as to what she should do*
NARRATOR: *you two find the large man slumped over on the ground apparently trying to have gotten up with his massive hammer*
NARRATOR: *there is much blood from his wound*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*takes a pulse and looks to you and in a sour face*It looks like he suffered much before dying.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I assume your friends are much better off?
CIMORENE: *she stares dispassionately down at the man before turning away* They are much better off indeed. They just had some bruising and cuts... *she moves inside the stables and calls softly for Bard*
NARRATOR: *bard comes up to you*
CIMORENE: *she hugs his neck tightly, her tears wetting his skin* Oh bard.... I've made a terrible mess of things.
NARRATOR: *bard seems ready for whatever comes next*
CIMORENE: I didn't wake Ulrich before I came down to check on you last night, and they were attacked while they slept
NARRATOR: Bard: things could be worse
CIMORENE: Ulrich hates me now
NARRATOR: Igiwi:The horse talks!
NARRATOR: Bard: give him time, i bet
NARRATOR: Igiwi:This is amazing!*he is like a child being impressed by a magic trick*
CIMORENE: *she glances behind her at Igiwi* He does... as long as one has sense enough to listen. Igiwi, would you be adverse to accepting a spell from me? I need to know if you are sincere before I can continue with my plans.
CIMORENE: (wait.... lemme check something)
NARRATOR: (k)
CIMORENE: (ok. )
CIMORENE: (go ahead)
NARRATOR: (wait, i just read up. elven steeds hear their masters commands)
NARRATOR: (what do you wanna do here?)
CIMORENE: (I'm going to cast Reading the Heart)
CIMORENE: (you still alive?)
NARRATOR: (oh, ya. what about your horse? can he get to hear it?)
NARRATOR: (when did you get that spell?)
CIMORENE: (I've always had it)
NARRATOR: (oh..., and about your horse?)
CIMORENE: (And I suppose we can just have him hear it. I mean, it's speaking Elven, right?)
NARRATOR: (yes)
NARRATOR: (okay then, cast on)
CIMORENE: (It's his post)
NARRATOR: Igiwi:You are going to give me a spell?
CIMORENE: ACtually, I'm going to cast a spell on you to ascertain if you are telling me the truth and if you are a good person.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*knowingly*I understand. It is hard these days to trust anyone...
CIMORENE: INdeed. Especially for what I have in mind. Do I have your permission?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:You do. *he seems unsure how to ready himself but ready he is*
NARRATOR: (do you have insight of 8+?)
CIMORENE: (yup)
NARRATOR: (k then)
CIMORENE: (cast with a 17)
CIMORENE: *she touches his face and meets his eyes with hers, peering into his very soul*
NARRATOR: *you see he is an honest, good, and noble man. He cares deeply about the survival of his city and his people. He is a wanderer of these dangerous plains and hopes to make them safe for people even if he doesn't know if he is helping them. He fears what the future could bring for him and everything he holds dear...*
CIMORENE: *her hands fall away from his face and she blinks a few times, straightening* Good. I see that you are a very good man, and that you would not lie to me. Are you still willing to talk over breakfast?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*smiles*That wasn't bad at all. Yes of course I am, I stayed this long didn't I*smirks*.
CIMORENE: *she smiles back then hurries inside, determined to have her way in her decision. She heads straight back for the room, ignoring almost everyone*
NARRATOR: *you find Ipal in the room*
NARRATOR: *sitting on the bed looking out the window*
CIMORENE: Ipal, where's Ulrich?
NARRATOR: Ipal:He went to get a drink at the bar.*he keeps looking out the window*
CIMORENE: *her gaze softens* What are you looking at?
NARRATOR: Ipal:*points at the barn-like structure you were at*The blood trail.
CIMORENE: *she nods* It was from one of the men from last night... *she sits beside him on the bed, taking his hand gently* Ipal... can I talk to you for a moment?
NARRATOR: Ipal:*looks to you*Of course.
CIMORENE: *she closes her eyes for a moment* I've been asking a lot of you, haven't I, Ipal? Making you go through all these journeys and trials for something that you don't really even understand...
NARRATOR: Ipal:*not quite catching on*What do you mean?
CIMORENE: Wouldn't you rather have just stayed home instead of coming with me? Not have to put up with all the danger... Ipal, I've almost gotten you killed twice now!
NARRATOR: Ipal:This is far more exciting than sitting in King Eldarions thrown room. No wrong meant toward his majesty, but it is a truly boring life. I have been having the time of my life on this venture, Cimorene. I want you to know that.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I want you to know that i've never felt more of a sense of purpose than I have until now*a tear*.
CIMORENE: I understand that... but this incident has made me see that I am asking too much of people and not giving anything in return. I don't want to put anyone else in danger over my task.
NARRATOR: Ipal:You did not put me in any danger, Lady. I did by agreeing to come with you. You have given me so much in return.
CIMORENE: Ipal... I'm going to ask Ulrich to go back to Gondor. I will not put such an important man in danger because of my foolishness. I would feel better if you went with him to protect him.
NARRATOR: Ipal:*smiles*A clever ruse, but it won't work on me. If he decides to leave I have full confidence he will be fine. I could not go back while you go forward into this land.
CIMORENE: *she smiles a little* And if I insisted?
NARRATOR: Ipal:If you insist then. I have no choice but to stay with you*winks*.
CIMORENE: *she smiles a little more* If only you hated me too, this would be easier. Ulrich... he is my problem.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I do not hate you and don't see how I could, Lady. I think that sir Ulrich wants to trust you and be nicer to you, but feels duty has him unable to.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I say give him time.
CIMORENE: I still think I should ask him to leave.
NARRATOR: Ipal:if you insist...
CIMORENE: I just don't know....
NARRATOR: Ipal:I cannot decide your fate, I wish I could at times like this.
NARRATOR: *he seems very caring for you now*
CIMORENE: (man.... I can't decide what to do. )
NARRATOR: (sorry, you gotta;-))
CIMORENE: (No, I mean... I want Ulrich gone. Gone gone.)
NARRATOR: (oh!)
NARRATOR: (yikes, what's up?)
CIMORENE: (I dunno.... it's just that he treats Cimorene like a child, as did Radagast, and I just hate it. She's not really growing if he's there to help her every time)
NARRATOR: (but she is alive. well i didn't know he came off that way too. maybe you just don't wanna be protected anymore...)
CIMORENE: (not really... I want to be protected with a sword, and not have to feel so inferior to another magic user)
NARRATOR: (k, well then decide away)
NARRATOR: (try to in-game eh?)
CIMORENE: (I will..... I just needed to vent that)
NARRATOR: (nothing i can really do;:-)
CIMORENE: *she stands and moves to the door, pacing back and forth*
NARRATOR: Ipal:It is that hard on you?
CIMORENE: *she blinks over at him* Is what so hard on me?
NARRATOR: Ipal:Obviously what you just told me about Ulrich.
CIMORENE: Yes.... I hate being thought of as a child who needs to be taught on this journey. This is MY task, and while I appreciate his help, I vainly yearn to do it on my own,
NARRATOR: Ipal:Then why not tell him so?
NARRATOR: Ipal:And why let me stay with you then?
CIMORENE: I don't know how to! I don't want to offend him at all
CIMORENE: *she chuckles* You just want me all to yourself...
NARRATOR: Ipal:I think that is impossible and you are starting to offend me if I understand you correctly.
NARRATOR: Ipal:Perhaps...*wrly*
CIMORENE: No, Ipal... I don't want to do this alone. I misspoke. I want to lead this expedition, not follow in the footsteps of one greater than I. I do not wish to feel so watched in my actions, knowing that this is all some test in their minds.
NARRATOR: Ipal:Then tell him this Cimorene. My mother always told me honesty was the best policy. He may be angered but how else will he leave?
CIMORENE: *she sighs and sits on her bed* But what if I offend him?
NARRATOR: Ipal:I think the two go hand-in-hand.
CIMORENE: *she sighs* You're right.... I'll tell him when he comes back.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I don't know if he will be. He seemed quite determined to have some ale over this situation.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I will leave you alone then? Maybe I will go meet him at the bar.
CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times* Oh dear... a drunk wizard?
NARRATOR: Ipal:Then perhaps the faster you tell him the better.
CIMORENE: *she nods* If you don't mind... I would like to mull over this
NARRATOR: Ipal: Certainly, Lady. *he bows and heads out the door*
CIMORENE: *she crosses her legs and closes her eyes, allowing her mind to free itself and ponder this new plan*
NARRATOR: (k)
CIMORENE: (in other words, Laura's thinking really really hard)
NARRATOR: (lol! you do that then)
CIMORENE: (ok then)
CIMORENE: *she stands, determined, and heads downstairs to find the boys*
NARRATOR: *there is still hardly anyone in the place besides your three men and all of them at the bar*
CIMORENE: *she takes a deep breath and moves towards them* Gentlemen
NARRATOR: *they all turn*
CIMORENE: I regret to announce that this is the end... I bid you all a very fond farewell. This quest is not for you to endeavor, it is mine. PLease... return to your homes, and forget about me. *She turns and heads for the door*
CIMORENE: (Has rolled a dice and this is what was decided)
CIMORENE: (dear gods.....)
NARRATOR: (uh laura...)
NARRATOR: (you mean all 3 of them?)
CIMORENE: (oops! No, just Ipal and Ulrich! Wait one more sec)
NARRATOR: (redo? that went bad)
CIMORENE: igiwi, I would like to speak to you before I leave.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Certainly*comes by you*
CIMORENE: (waits for the other reactions)
NARRATOR: (ah)
NARRATOR: *Ipal sits patiently*
NARRATOR: *ulrich sits*
NARRATOR: (that's what they do based on what you've said)
CIMORENE: *she heads straight outside and into the stables, stroking Bard's nose*
NARRATOR: *Igiwi is right with you*
CIMORENE: igiwi, it is time I told you the truth. my name is Cimorene, and I am seeking the Blue Wizards. Is it true that one of them resides in your town?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I have always suspected him to be a wizard like i've heard. I know nothing for sure.
CIMORENE: *she nods* Would you lead me there?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Gladly.
NARRATOR: *he stares at you*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Right now?
CIMORENE: *she nods at him* As soon as is humanly possible. I have come to realize that things are more dire than I believed at first. How soon can we leave?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I am ready at any time, I warn you I have no animal of my own and if speed is neccesary we should take passage over the sea rather than around.
CIMORENE: How soon can we charter a ship then?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I can take care of it when we get there, if they have a boat we will be allowed instant access.
CIMORENE: *she nods* You will be well paid for your aid to me. PLease... make ready to leave.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:It is far easier than you think, but I can meet you at the dock if you wish?
CIMORENE: Where is it?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*points it out*Follow the sweet scent of the sea.
CIMORENE: *she nods again* how soon?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:It won't take but a minute. I will be ready upon your arrival. I will try to get a vessel to transport a horse as well.
CIMORENE: That would be best, for I shall not leave Bard here. I will meet you at the dock. *She moves back to the door of the Inn and walks back to Ipal and Ulrich* I am going now...
NARRATOR: *they both get up and walk over to you*
CIMORENE: *she bows to them both* Give my regards to the King and to Oromic and Radagast
NARRATOR: *two puzzled men*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*suddenly realizing everything*I shall Cimorene. Until we meet again.
NARRATOR: Ipal:What?!
NARRATOR: *ulrich nods to ipal and pats him on the shoulder and goes to the stable*
CIMORENE: *she holds out her hand to Ulrich* I do not want to part badly... but I feel I need to do this on my own
NARRATOR: *ulrich does not turn around, but puts his staff up in confromation of hearing you*
NARRATOR: *ulrich keeps walking*
CIMORENE: *she then turns to Ipal* I do not want to put you in danger, my dear friend...
CIMORENE: And this quest may very well take my life...
NARRATOR: Ipal:I cannot have that don't you see? You would fail then.
CIMORENE: *she nods* INdeed. But I cannot allow you to risk your life for something that you are not a part of...
NARRATOR: Ipal:But I AM a part of this. Can you not realize this? Have you become as arrogant as you say they were*pointing to ulrich*?!
CIMORENE: *she shakes her head* No. I have woken up, actually... I do not want to see you dead, Ipal! YOu mean too much to me! *impulsively, she moves to him and into his arms, hugging him tightly*
NARRATOR: Ipal:And you mean too much to me to let you go*accepts your embrace eagerly*.
CIMORENE: Ipal.... *she steps away* Go home. Live.
NARRATOR: Ipal:*saddened*You will not allow me to come with you will you?*sobering*
CIMORENE: *she turns away from him and looks out the doorway* I... want you... to come with me.
NARRATOR: Ipal:Then why push me away one moment and ask me to follow you the next?
NARRATOR: (out of game, are you lying?)
NARRATOR: (he is going to make a test to find out)
CIMORENE: Because you would never even be in this mess if it were not for me! Ipal, I MADE you come with me!
CIMORENE: (Nope. I'm getting to the good part)
NARRATOR: (k)
NARRATOR: *Ipal cannot come up with words, expression unreadable*
CIMORENE: *she turns and sighs deeply* You're not really in love with me, Ipal. I Entranced you back at the castle and did too good of a job of it. I essentially cast a spell on you
NARRATOR: Ipal:Impossible*the words are almost too quite to hear*
NARRATOR: *there is a growing sense of malice in him*
CIMORENE: No, Ipal... it is not. I cannot lie to you anymore. Your feelings for me are a result of the spell, and I asked the king to have you come with me because I felt bad leaving you like this.
NARRATOR: (aww, look at matmortigan and sorsha?)
NARRATOR: (potion did it)
CIMORENE: (*falls over laughing*)
NARRATOR: (just saying it's about the same thing;-))
NARRATOR: *he sits there, a bundle of emotion waiting to explode. he is somewhere between kissing and killing you*
CIMORENE: Forget about me, Ipal. Go home. I want you to be with me because it is your choice, not because of some spell.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I will never forget!
NARRATOR: Ipal:I will never forget the treachery of elves!
NARRATOR: Ipal:Too long have I stood up for your kind
NARRATOR: *he puts a hand up to hear him out*
CIMORENE: (oh crap)
NARRATOR: Ipal:I have heard people speak horrible things about you and your kin and I was a fool to stand up for them. A fool to go with you on this trip over my own kingdom! You are sorcereers just like they said. You are evil, you are everything they say.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I have learned this Cimorene:you cannot trust elves. Gondor is better off departing from that in its bloodline and I cannot wait until it is gone altogether!
NARRATOR: *he seems to want to strike you he is so angry and he is yelling at the top of his lungs*
NARRATOR: Ipal:I have been nothing but good and humble to you and you talk to me so condiscendingly like I was a child. I may not be your age but I have LIVED!
CIMORENE: *she merely stands there, highly expecting to be hit, and does not allow the tears to fall, although they drift over her eyes*
CIMORENE: (*softly* Ya gotta be cruel, to be kind....)
NARRATOR: Ipal:You are a fool to assume yourself so much better than me as you yourself thought of about the other wizards! They only wanted to help you, you, you....WITCH!
NARRATOR: *Ipal takes out his shield*
NARRATOR: *Ipal throws his shield with all his might*
NARRATOR: *the shield makes a new window in the bar*
CIMORENE: (Did I just make a new Enemy?)
NARRATOR: Ipal:*looks to his shield with pity*Gondor has failed you Cimorene the queen of fools! I cannot and will not be held responsible for any more of your trickery!
NARRATOR: (maybe more of a rival)
CIMORENE: (oh boy)
NARRATOR: *Ipal spits in your face*
NARRATOR: Ipal:Worst of all I am a fool for letting you decieve me!
CIMORENE: *she does not try to dodge, merely takes it and then turns around and walks towards the door, wiping it away*
NARRATOR: Ipal:Goodbye and good-riddens Cimorene! *he fumes away*
CIMORENE: I do not ask forgiveness for what I did, Ipal... *she whispers* But I do love you... so I could not allowl myself to lie anymore.... fare well.... *she disappears through the door*
NARRATOR: (she loves him?)
CIMORENE: (sortof)
NARRATOR: (uh huh...)
CIMORENE: (it could've been love if it wasn't a spell)
NARRATOR: (no-one ever says that was all of it. the spell was the catalyst)
CIMORENE: (*sighs* But at least he knows the truth now)
NARRATOR: (who knows if he felt so but never would tell you because of shyness...)
NARRATOR: (oh the truth is OUT with everyone)
CIMORENE: (*sighs* This was painful)
NARRATOR: (then i played it right)
CIMORENE: (But necessary)
CIMORENE: (indeed. Are you mad at me?)
NARRATOR: (no)
NARRATOR: (i'm playing my characters)
CIMORENE: (just making sure)
NARRATOR: (i'm interested to see if you're gonna die now actually)
CIMORENE: *she moves to the stables and takes Bard's line, leading him through the town and towards the docks*
CIMORENE: (I have a plan)
CIMORENE: (I think)
NARRATOR: (i'm all ears)
CIMORENE: (I can't tell you the plan, silly)
NARRATOR: *you find Igiwi waiting for you by a sturdy enough looking ship*
NARRATOR: (oh ya, i forget talking as me... hehehe)
CIMORENE: (lol)
CIMORENE: *she nods to Igiwi* How long will it take to get there?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Just over a day of a journey.
CIMORENE: *she prods Bard onto the ship, then leans against the railing and try and see Ipal or Ulrich*
NARRATOR: *no sign of ulrich*
NARRATOR: *You see the barn come down and can somewhat hear ipals rage*
NARRATOR: *some villagers come running out of their homes to see what is wrong*
NARRATOR: *all of them as strange looking and raggedy as ever*
CIMORENE: *she gasps at the sight* Valar protect us... He's going mad.... *she leaps onto Bard and charges back down the street, calling out* Wait for me, Igiwi!
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I cannot for long, we are not alone on the vessel. Be quick Cimorene!
NARRATOR: *some villagers carry weapons with them as they go towards the barn*
CIMORENE: *she charges down the street and heads directly back to Ipal* Ipal!! Stop this!
NARRATOR: (is she sure she wants to see this?)
CIMORENE: (She's sure that she doesn't want to see him get killed)
NARRATOR: (okay then...)
NARRATOR: *Ipal is weilding his gondorian sword proudly and confidently and his shield again*
NARRATOR: *there are a couple corpses around him and he prepares to take on more screaming at them*
NARRATOR: *his sword is bloodied some now*
CIMORENE: IPAL!!!!!!!!! STOP THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!
NARRATOR: Ipal:Long live Gondor! May the elves' time come soon!
NARRATOR: *he does not react to you in any way*
NARRATOR: *another skirmish with ipal and the man goes down in three hits not even harming him with his shield*
CIMORENE: *she leaps off her horse, running and drawing her sword. She charges towards him and moves before him, her sword up* Ipal! Stop!
NARRATOR: *the white tree is turned somewhat red when he plants it into the head of another attacker*
NARRATOR: Ipal:Do not challange me!
NARRATOR: *he puts up his sword to you*
CIMORENE: I will challenge you if you do not stop this senseless bloodshed, Ipal!
NARRATOR: Ipal:*with a brood*This is not senseless, these people are animals!
NARRATOR: *the crowd stops a moment for the conversation and the possible stop of Ipal. there is some 15 or so of them*
CIMORENE: YOU are the animal, Ipal! Butchering them! Is this any way for a Knight of Gondor to behave!?
NARRATOR: Ipal:Yes!
CIMORENE: Liar! They only attacked you because of me in the first place! stop this!
NARRATOR: Ipal:It won't be long before they are upon my country and making war with us. Just like Radagast predicted. Just like Igiwi was eluding to!
NARRATOR: Ipal:*Fuming with anger at your response*It's all because of you isn't it elf?!
CIMORENE: So you're going to simply murder them? I cannot allow it!
NARRATOR: Ipal:This is your fault!*points his sword at you*
NARRATOR: Ipal:If they attack me i will defend.
CIMORENE: Leave, Ipal. Leave and go back home, or face me.
NARRATOR: Ipal:You're right Cimorene.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I have to go back.
NARRATOR: Ipal:I have to go back home*realization*
NARRATOR: Ipal:*with an angered face*I have to tell my people about you and what a witch you are before i die!
NARRATOR: *he quickly turns and runs to his horse*
CIMORENE: *she sighs and puts down her sword, sheathing it almost silently and watches him*
NARRATOR: *he does not look back as he rides off at a full gallop*
CIMORENE: *she looks around at the carnage left behind and shakes her head. She walks back to Bard, dejected and saddened by this event and mounts up*
NARRATOR: (that could have gone better...)
CIMORENE: (At least I didn't have to kill him)
NARRATOR: (it was close, very close and he isn't the pushover you think he is in battle either)
CIMORENE: (I never thought he was a pushover)
NARRATOR: (he killed about 6 villagers)
NARRATOR: (sorry, i got that impression)
CIMORENE: (I know. )
CIMORENE: *she urges Bard down the street, between the stunned villagers, and heads for the boat again*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Now Cimorene! They won't wait!
CIMORENE: *bard moves into a run and leaps onto the boat*
NARRATOR: *you see the boat moving*
NARRATOR: (ride check)
CIMORENE: (16)
NARRATOR: *bard gracefully glides to the boat with almost no interuption of it's departure*
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I was worried, I thought i'd have to abandon ship to rejoin you.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*looking around*Where are your other compainions? What is going on?
CIMORENE: *she stares at the land as it pulls away* They are gone.... gone home, like I asked them to.
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I hope you are right, I heard a great disturbance that I think you're at the center of.
NARRATOR: *the boat moves relentlessly onwards*
CIMORENE: *she sighs and doesn't answer, closing her eyes to the sad thoughts coursing through her*
NARRATOR: *Igiwi says nothing but seems discouraged*
CIMORENE: Don't fear, Igiwi.... things are better now...
NARRATOR: Igiwi:I am not so sure. It feels almost as if we've failed before we've begun...
CIMORENE: *she shakes her head, sending him a reassuring smile* No... it already began. This is just another bump in the long long road
NARRATOR: Igiwi:*with determination*But we have to try. Wouldn't you agree?
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Quite a bump*sarcastically*.
CIMORENE: *this draws a small chuckles from her* Indeed.... and we must try. Failure is no longer an option for me
NARRATOR: Igiwi:Nor for me, it is victory or death.
NARRATOR: (END)
