"it's so picturesque. yesterday we went on a bush awareness course and learned how to use our senses to get around, and also how to spot animal tracks. after, we sat on the veranda and watched 4 elephants drink water from a watering hole about 50 yards away. today we are in town conducting some marketing research. tomorrow i am going to visit a school. early next week we hope to go to a national park and do a safari. i haven't yet seen as many animals as i thought i would...just elephants, baboons, warthog, impala.
everything seems safe here. we have food to eat - lots of meat, but the chef has made some accomodations to feed me vegetarian. we just ate breakfast at a cute restaurant called 310, where i had crepes with cinnamon sugar and lemon. yummy.
the weather is perfect. not too cold at night, and not too hot during the day. i've only been here for 3 days...it feels a lot longer, but at the same time, i know the month is going to fly by. it's so nice to not be sitting in front of a computer 40 hours a week! :)"
