| Recipes for success: Avacado Mask: 1 ripe avacado, peeled 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon olive oil Puree the avacado, lemon juice and olive oil together, then apply to your face for 15 minutes. Wipe of with a flannel and rinse in cold water. Baking Soda Scrub: 2 tablespoons baking soda 2 tablespoons ground rice (you can buy it ground or do it yourself in a coffee grinder) 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel Combine all ingredients, then spalsh water over face and apply scrub in small handfuls and rub vigorously against your skin, avoiding the eye area. Wash off, pat dry with a towel, then apply moisturiser. Pear hair thickener: 2 canned pear halves 1 teaspoon of powered plain gelation Mash the pear with a fork then stir in the gelatin. Scoop the mix up with your hands and apply to wet hair. Leave for 15 minutes then rinse out with warm water. |
