Jeff Gordon: Loved Forever
By: Kristina Z.
A year a half ago, I was looking through a magazine, and saw a picture of a sexy man. His name was Jeff Gordon. I wanted to read more about him, so quickly ran to my friend the computer. I googled Jeff Gordon and clicked on one of the links. It was nascar.com; I went to his biography and started reading and found out that I started to like him based on the facts in the biography. Soon, I really wanted to watch him in a race, so I went to my friends Ashleys house and watched the Ford 400 with her. That was my first official race as a new NASCAR fan. I was watching and watching closely. In the end of the race, Greg Biffle had won it and Jeff lost the championship by 16 pts behind Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson.
So, since than Ive been a huge fan of his. Here are some reasons why I became a huge Jeff Gordon fan. First of all, he has a lot of talent to be a NASCAR driver. He has been in the victory lane 73 times including four Daytona 500s and the four Winston Cup championships. He hopes to win more races and championships before he retires.
Secondly, he has a foundation for children who are physically disabled; its called The Jeff Gordon Foundation. Also, he is very supportive of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The next reason is that he is a very nice, caring, and intelligent person.
Another reason why I became a huge Jeff Gordon fan is that he is sexy. Also, because he never gives up, no matter what happens that could stop him from achieving new goals for him.
When he started driving in NASCAR, even through they booed him, I knew that he was the one for me. The fans started booing him, "As long as they make noise, Im happy" said Jeff Gordon. He kept winning races, and climbing to the top to be one of NASCARs greatest drivers.
The reason is when Jeff first climbed into a quarter-midget, he realized that this is what he wanted to race for the rest of his life. He is living his childhood dream.
If you always dreamt of that perfect future, you got to work very hard to accomplish the perfect job or the perfect smile. And thats whats Ive seen in Jeff so far; hes worked very hard to get to where he is now.
To sum this up, I now that in my heart I will always be a Jeff Gordon fan.
