People To Watch This Season So Far
In my class, we do "write a letter each week to the teacher" where you write to your teacher once week and they'll write back. Well my english teacher Mr. Carter proposed this question to me, "Who are the best three racers in the game right now in your opinion?" Well I thought about it. How can I combine cup, busch and truck all into one and find the top three? So I thought and decided to seperate them into their different series and then give the top 5 for each. So here is what I wrote:

I'm going to seperate it into catorgories by series.
Cup Series
The top 5 best so far this year are Carl Edwards, Greg Bifle, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch and Martin Martin. 4 of those drive for Jack Rouch and Jimmie Johnson has a 2.2 finishing average in the first 4 races.
Out of those 5, 3 of them are ok with me as the champ. Carl for one because he is such a cool kid. Mark Martin is next out of those 5 because this is his last year in the Cup series and he's been so close so many times while Greg is in the list of "ok with me" because he'd make a good champ.
My first choice will always be Dale Earnhardt Jr and he didn't make the list because I don't think a 26th in the pts standings and 1 top 20 finish put you on the list not to say I haven't given up on him. I believe if he gets a strong finish at Bristol he'll be fine. The key is make sure your in the top 10 or less then 400pts behind the points leader at race 26.
Busch Series
The top 5 so far are Martin, Shane, Paul, Reed and Carl.
Out of those 5, I would be ok with any of them winning the title. Martin Truex Jr a.k.a Senior Taco (remember the taco bell sponsership last yr? Yeah there's a crazy cartoon picture that explains that nickname. Wanna see? Just ask in your comments to the article) because he is talented and I want him to do the same feat as his car owner Dale Earnhardt Jr did by winning 2 in a row. Shane Hmiel because he has such a good personality and it'd be cool to see him come back from his suspension in 2002 to win his first Busch race and title. Paul Menard because he is one of my favs and Reed Soreson and Carl Edwards would make good champions.
Truck Series
The top 5 so far are Bobby Hamilton, Jimmy Spenser, Ron Hornaday Jr, Dennis Setzer and Jack Sprague.
Out of those 5, I would be ok with 3 of them winning it. First Hornaday because he's one of my favs and it 'd be cool to see KHI win a championship. Bobby because of what he went through to get to the top and Dennis because he's been close a lot and he'd make a good champion.
And those are my choices. Hopefully things turn around this weekend in Bristol for Dale Jr and it better not rain during the Busch race untill after halfway and either Shane or Martin are leading.
