In 2005, Paul Menard experienced his first season with DEI and finished 6th in pts with no wins.

Paul improved his plates along the way but did have a bad race at Dega due to TBO. So he will need to escape TBO in the future to do well in plate racing.

His short track results haven't been too good due to getting into wrecks so he'll need to learn to escape those.

In the only Busch Series road course of the year, Paul got a 34th place finish due to trouble so he'll need to escape that there also.

If Paul stays out of trouble, he gets top 10 finishes so once again, he needs to stay away from the wrecks.

His cookie cutters are also usually good finishes if he can escape bad luck so that's what he needs to do for 2005.

Here is the number 1 goal for Paul: get rid of the bad luck! Whatever is your lucky charm needs to go far far away because it isn't working.
