Please make sure that you allow Yahoo to reveal your email address.  If you do not, your application will  be rejected.  If your application is not accepted on that basis, you may reapply & be approved as long as you follow the rest of the Group’s joining procedure & provide an email address to us. 

 

You may also change that option while you are waiting for approval.  Log into Yahoo & change your preferences at the link above by deselecting “Hide my email & IP address.”  You will be sent further instructions in email, which will include a request for you to introduce yourself to the List Owner privately from an alternate, non-free email account.

 

We are sorry if you feel this violates your privacy, but it’s in the best interests of the rest of the Group.  Your option as a Yahoo user is to use the free email Yahoo account for group mail or to find another group.  If you do not introduce yourself, you will be rejected. 

 

Messages posted by new members will be on “moderated” status for a period of time.  Most members will find that being on “moderated” status is an almost invisible process.  It is not a judgment, just a safety net until the Moderators are sure the new member is familiar with how to use the Club’s features & is known by the group.

 

If a member’s email address originates from a free service, such as Yahoo or Hotmail, the account will remain moderated indefinitely.  If this is a problem for you, please feel free to complain in email to the List Owner at [email protected].

Why join this group?  Aren’t there others?

Yes, there are other Diana groups, doll groups, Diana doll groups, friend groups, Franklin Mint Diana doll groups, Fashion Doll groups, Dolls For Sale groups, etc.  The List Owner tends to think this one is the best Diana doll group for the following reasons:

·          Topicality—For the most part, we stay on the subject

·          Up-to-date information—On the home page, the message board, the database, the links page & the photo area

·          Membership—The largest, longest running Diana doll group on Yahoo with collectors & Diana custom outfit designers

Former member?  Interested in coming back?

If you were a member at one time, you may reapply for membership as long as you meet the following criteria:

 

·          Your account wasn’t removed or banned for unpleasant behavior

·          You do not owe members money

·          You provide an alternate email address when reapplying

 

If your account was marked “inactive” by Yahoo then removed, you will need to reapply, provide an email address & send an introduction.

 

Be advised that if you were removed or left under unpleasant circumstances, you will need to contact the List Owner before applying to join again.  If you have remedied the problem that caused you to leave, you may rejoin.  If not, just find another group, there are others out there & many of them are not as fussy as we are.  We’re sure they’re quite nice.  Ask the List Owner for recommendations.
