You are responsible for your own words.  If in doubt, ask Leona or Carol;  one of them will be happy to help you plan a reasonable course of action.  If the complaint does not comply with these guidelines, it may be summarily deleted.  While we have no wish to protect a "bad" dealing member, we also do not wish to endorse "witch hunts" of innocent targets of spite.  Public complaints that do not conform to Club guidelines will be deleted without public explanation, as well as the message threads that result.

 

E.  All transactions are undertaken at your own risk, so be sure you know & trust the party with whom you are dealing.  The club is not responsible for these deals.  The List Owner will do her best to facilitate communication between parties when necessary & possible, however again, know your party & be absolutely clear what your deal is before you send money or goods.  That means: condition of items, payment terms, payment type, means of shipping, delivery date, return policy (if any) & what is or is not included as part of the sale. There can be no contract without a meeting of the minds, so make sure your minds have met before dollars or dolls go in the mail.  Ask for other members for recommendations of “good” sellers.

 

2.  Photo Area--

 

It's okay to post photos of items you have for sale under these conditions:

 

·          You are a member in good standing of the Club.  (Ex-members' photos may be deleted unless the photos fulfill club information purposes.)                  

·          The photo is in good taste & can conceivably be related to Diana or dolls representing her image or accessory items for those dolls.  (No, even though Diana probably enjoyed the use of Victorian antiques in Kensington Palace, Victorian doll furniture doesn't count as a Diana doll accessory.

·          There is sufficient space in the photo area for your photos.  If the Club runs low, the Founders might request that you park your photos somewhere else like Yahoo! Photos & post a link to the Club, because we are sometimes very limited on space.

·          You either own the copyright to the photo or have the copyright owners' permission.

 

3.  Bookmarks--

 

Links to your business web page may be posted as long as:

 

·          Something significant on your web pages mention Diana or Diana dolls.

·          Your link remains working & you don't go nuts posting links to every page you own.

·          You are a member of the Club in good standing (meaning, you haven’t joined the club, posted your ads/photos/links, then quit all in the space of a few minutes.) Ex-members' links may be deleted if they do not fulfill Club information purposes.

 

This is not a group that tolerates fly-by-night or dishonest traders.  Friends don’t cheat friends.  If that is your intent, please go away.
