Chat Room Policy

The chat room is for "chat," which means that whatever is being discussed is "on topic" for as long as anyone's attention span (or resident doll hater) will allow.  The chat room is located at the main site.

Chat doesn't leave permanent marks, so to speak, & if someone isn't interested in the chat topic they can change it, ignore it or leave the room.

If you wish others to join you in the chat room, post a message to the Club message board announcing when you will be available. 

Files Area

The Files area allows us to store files created in many formats.  It does provide additional space that could house photos, but at this time, we are asking that photos not be placed in it because the file sections are much more difficult to organize than the photo areas.   Currently, the Files area is mostly storing Word & text document lists.  There are Files areas at both locations, main site & Trunk.

The Database area provides a handy way to store organized information related to a specific topic.  There are several tables already placed in our database.  Check them out, there’s lots of useful information there.

On the main site, there is also a condensed version of the Club’s home page written in FAQ style.   There is an additional database at the Trunk.

The “Trunk”

The Trunk is our alternate site which provides the group with features withheld from us when Yahoo migrated us from the old “Clubs” format to being a “Group.”  It has a nearly identical web address to that of the main group, but with underscores between the words.

Check it out.  There is additional photo, file & database space there.  No messages are posted from the Trunk, since that is already handled at the main site.

Note:  You must be a member of the Main Group in order to get access to the Trunk.  Once your Trunk membership has been approved, then you will be able to use everything.
