| Ethical Bisexual Transvestite | |||||||

| I realize that everyone has their problems, but sometimes when I hear someone complaining about their life and what a rotten hand they've been dealt, I just feel like saying, "Well trying being a bisexual transvestite with ethics!" Now I realize that might confuse some people so I'll break it down a little. And I'll try to take it slow so I don't lose anyone. | |||||||
| Now bisexual should be pretty self-explanatory, but I have my own little spin to add to it. Simplistically that would just mean that I like guys and girls, but of course, as with most other things about me, it goes a little deeper than the surface. The best way that I can describe it is that I'm attracted to people without regard for their gender. Now it's true that I find femininity irresistible, but I am old enough and mature enough to know that women are not the only creatures to be blessed with this divine attribute. I believe that I myself have a generous touch of femininity, which I also believe makes me a better person. I wouldn't give it up for anyone or anything. | |||||||
| That brings me to the next word, transvestite, or the more politically correct, softer term, crossdresser. Same thing really. I don t find either word offensive, and if memory serves, 'crossdresser' is simply the Latin-to-English translation of 'transvestite'. Just another case of those stuffy, degree-toting lab-coats always trying to create long complicated words for simple things like a guy in girl's clothes. So I'm a man and I love the fabrics, and the style, and the feel of women's clothes. Now someone take a pen and paper and write down all the laws that have been broken, and all the people that have died, and all the lives that I've destroyed simply because I prefer feminine clothes over the drab, socially acceptable male attire. That's odd, 25 years now and that paper still appears to be blank. How could that be? Oh yeah, because there's nothing wrong with it, and it doesn't affect anyone beyond making me a little happier and more comfortable, and I don't think that's so awful, really. | |||||||
| Now for the fun part. This ought to get a lot of those Republican panties in a bunch. I believe myself to be a fairly moralistic and ethical person. Contrary to the stigma attached to words like 'bisexual' and 'transvestite' which dictate that I should be a disease-ridden psychotic with a behavioral disorder, I am an easy-going, well adjusted, generally happy person, who actually believes in being in love with someone before I can sleep with them, much to the chagrin of several less-than-subtle Internet users. (My computer tells me that's a run-on sentence, but I don't feel like breaking it up, so just go back and read it again if I lost you.) It's a little disheartening when people choose to believe what they hear rather than actually bother to get to know someone. If you really like to believe everything you hear then do me a favor and wrap your lips around the barrel of a loaded shotgun and squeeze. I heard it could make you more open-minded. Sorry, that's a little brutal, but it made me giggle when I thought of it. (Put down the shotgun and share a smile with someone that you would usually make fun of.) Anyway, the point is a little humor and an open mind is all we need to make the world a better place. | |||||||
