We use or have control of at least 8 factories in China and Hong Kong that supply our merchandise to the distributors. My job was to be the liaison for the distributors and the suppliers as they were not allowed to have direct contact. I handled all overseas orders by fax, email, and phone. I placed orders, handled the shipments with the freight forwarders to make sure the merchandise would fit onto a containter, I decided the best way to ship the merchandise for the customer by the container size and type of shipment. I handled consolidated shipments including over 5 suppliers in one shipment. I handled any problems that the supplier or the distributor had involving the order, items ordered, any order issue, and shipping dates.
