BACKGROUND - USAGI Grew up in Tokyo, Japan. She was just starting Junior High School at Juuban Junior High when she met an older man named Mamoru Chiba. He was dashing, if not slightly condecending, so Usagi fell for him. They dated for four years and on the day of her high school graduation, Mamoru proposed. She entered college as a young bride and after four years she graduated with a communications degree. After school, she began working as a collumnist for the Japan Journal. After 1 year, she gave birth to a daughter, Kimi Usagi. Usagi and Mamoru weren't getting along very well and when Kimi was a year old, they divorced. Usagi was heart broken, and it took her a long time to get over him. She changed her name from Chiba back to Tsukino so she could start over again. After 2 years, she met Seiya Kou and he was just so dashing, that she had to date him. Usagi is very protective over Kimi even though she doesn't like Mamoru much anymore. And when she saw how wonderful Seiya was with her daughter, she knew he was the one. They've been together for 2 years. |
