BACKGROUND Demando was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. He always wanted to help people, especially after his parents were killed. He raised his younger brother, Sapphire, and eventually went to college to become a psycologist. He started his own practice and became very successful. Demando was visiting Tokyo General to do a follow-up on a patient when he met a young medical student. Her name was Ami Mizuno and she was very ambitious. They argued at first, but he knew that she was special. They remained in contact long after he left for home and eventually she agreed to date him. At her graduation from college with her PhD, Demando proposed and soon after they got married. |
