The days were hot, the sun brightly shined.
From the very beginning, we clicked and I knew
I'd want to spend all my days with you.
July was the month when we first kissed.
In August, intimacy, we couldn't resist.
Those were our "getting to know you" days.
We brought each other happiness in so many ways.
Summer passed...and then came Fall.
By then, I felt like we'd been through it all.
We were having some serious ups and downs.
But the ups were what kept "us" around.
As the days got cooler, it seemed we both did too.
Could it be that our "happy days" were through?
As long as we didn't give up, we'd be fine.
Yes, some days were cold, but "our" sun could still shine.
September and October were really rough.
To the point it seemed we'd both had enough.
But there was something about us that kept us together.
Through the sunshine, the rain, and even the cold weather.
We had made it that far and from then I knew,
I would never be able to turn my back on you.
Winter's appraoching and snow will soon be here.
We'll have fun reveling in the Christmas cheer.
On Thanksgiving Day, I'll thank God for you.
Thank Him for keeping us together, after all we've been through.
We'll play and have fun when there's a snow storm.
Then go home and cuddle and keep each other warm.
We'll sip on hot chocolate and just be together.
Then maybe go ice skating in the cold Winter weather.
Of course, we may still have our occasional fights.
But at the end of them all, we'll know we're alright.
'Cuz even the best relationships will have their down falls.
But you and I will be able to make it through it all.
Deep in my heart, I feel we're meant to be.
We'll make it through 4 seasons, just wait...you'll see.
As days get warmer, it will then turn to Spring.
You and I will still be together doing "our thing."
And maybe by then, you'll be here with me.
With no distance between us, could this possibly be?
But wherever we are, we'll spend fun times together.
And enjoy doing our thing in the pleasant Spring weather.
We'll take walks in the park and get caught in Spring showers.
We'll take time to stop and smell the fresh flowers.
By then, we will have definitely been through it all.
And at times we'll feel as if we've hit a brick wall.
But we will make it, as we've done before
And as always, we'll continue to yearn for more.
Cuz, Babes, I don't think we'll ever get sick of each other.
My feelings for you, I'll never feel for another.
When Spring is over, it will be Summer once more.
A year will have passed since I first became yours.
Although we'll have gone through some changes together.
We'll know that we made it through all kinds of weather.
And as seasons change, so, too will we.
But we'll be able to manage, because we're meant to be.
Through, Winter, through Spring, through Summer, through Fall,
Through good times and bad, we'll continue to stand tall.
For today, for tomorrow, and forever too...
