One Year Later�

it started out with a simple note�
with a simple message from me�
and somehow it grew into so much more�
something neither of us could foresee�

from that one note, we became friends�
and talked about things from the heart�
and those long and special conversations�
contributed to how "you and i" start�

after sharing so much in so little time�
we decided to meet each other�
and soon after the day we met�
we became not only friends but lovers�

although there was distance between us�
we started to spend lots of time together�
just when we thought things were perfect�
things just kept getting better and better�

our love was like a fairy tale�
at first it was young and new�
and as that love grew day by day�
our love became strong and true�

but with all good things, there comes the bad�
and eventually we had our first fight�
unfortunately the fights began to multiply�
and sometimes things just didn't seem right�

at times we both wanted to give up�
but somehow we always came back together�
although we had our share of troubles�
it was our love that kept us together�

it's been a year since we first met�
we've been through much since then�
but this is just the beginning, Babes�
'cause i'm hoping our love will never end�

we have more happiness to look forward to�
in the days to come�
let's just hang on to what we've got�
and remember where our love came from�

and if times get rough, as i'm sure they will�
let's try to stay strong and true�
i love you so much and i always will�
i hope i never lose you�

so, thank you so much for all you've done�
and for the happiness u've given to me�
and remember how much i love you always�
