| he was incapable of having children, but Vivian told him that nothing was wrong. One night, she went to a friend of Markus's, a man named Xion. They had been friends for years, and Vivian had grown on him. They talked for awhile, but then they ended up kissing and eventually making love. Vivian kept the tryst secret, never telling Markus, as did Xion. Within a month, Vivian discovered she was pregnant and told Markus that she was pregnant with *his* baby, knowing that it was truly Xion's. Markus was happier than ever and they celebrated it, but as time passed, guilt grew in Vivian along with the unborn child. She eventually confronted Markus and told him of her tryst. Markus immediately shunned her and Xion, never speaking to either of them for the rest of the pregnancy, and locking himself in his room. When Vivian gave birth, Markus, out of pity, helped her in labor. The child turned out to be a stillborn. Vivian, in grief, could not bear to see it. Markus took the burden of burying the infant, but instead, his thoughts turned to evil and he cut the child's body up and made a stew of its remains, feeding it to Vivian the next day. She did so without suspicion. That night, Markus was in his own room and his own bed. He was tossing and turning. Vivian wanted to help him, but didn't know how. The next morning, Markus came to her room and they made love. Vivian felt something tug at her very spirit, and it was painful. She bit onto Markus's shoulder as he stole her soul, having been turned into a demon the night before. By drinking his blood as he took her, she became a Succubus. She and Markus were finally able to fulfill their dreams of having children, even if it wasn't what they had planned. They turned at least two hundred people into Incubi and Succubi in their time together. About 1000 years after being Turned, Vivian observed Markus falling for a local prostitute by the name of Galatea. She thought nothing of it at the time until Markus practically started living with her. It was obvious that both of them were deeply in love. Vivian made a deal with Markus since he was not willing to turn her: The moment she comitted a terribly heinous crime such as murder, they had to make Galatea their soul daughter. Markus reluctantly agreed, and from then on kept a fierce eye on her. When Galatea gave birth to her son, Manasseh, and left him in the snow to die, and succeeded, that pact was sealed. Markus revealed himself to Galatea, and so did Vivian. Galatea actually agreed to be Turned, as long as she could stay with Markus for eternity. A few years after watching her husband being pulled away from her, Vivian attacked Galatea, and tried to kill her. Markus intercepted her and killed her by running a thin spike through her heart. Unknowing to anyone, her body did not turn to dust, and was found by Xion... |
