| Maz may look totally evil to the bone, when in fact he's more of a psycho. This is due to a book he carries that enables him to see EVERY piece of writing that history knows. Heck, you can easily find a five-year old's scribbling in it. He reads this almost constantly whenever he's not busy with anything, and it made him go pretty much insane, although he can control it. Before he was bitten and Turned, Mazier hated his life. He was a coward, not physically strong, and everyone hated him. In a nutshell, to him, getting bitten was the best thing that happened to him. However, there was a huge downside to becoming all psycho and hard-core: he lost all emotions except hatred, anger, and a bit of compassion. Let's just say if Maz doesn't kill you within the first five minutes of meeting you, he can tolerate you. Mazier's an expert warrior, and professional with a katana blade. He helped Sonia Belmont in her quest against Dracula, and let's just say, Sonia didn't really like his attitude. He's a real asshole at times, and it's hard to be around him when he's like that without wanting to hit him with something big, hard, and painful. Hard to believe this, but kicking Mazier in the crotch does absolutely NOTHING. The vampire huntress Lilith is in love with Mazier, but because of his inability to feel emotions, he refuses to return her feelings. In fact, he's amused by her actions. |
Mazier may be a hard-core warrior, but he has a huge soft-spot for children. When Maria Renard kidnapped Lilith as an infant, he was the one who convinced her not to kill her, and helped her raise the child. For a time, his demeanor softened. |
