| respected greatly by other vampires. In the actual story, not mine, Elizabeth was found kneeling over a dead corpse in the town square in the year 1421. Before she could escape, the townspeople captured her. She was tried for vampiric witchcraft and found guilty. Although no one knows the exact way she was executed, we do know that it was a gruesome and horrible death. Her spirit was sealed within an enchanted locket that bore the Tepes crest upon it. Anyone who simply opened it would bring her back. In 1917, an amateur witch dabbling in Black Magic, Drolta Tzuentes, found the locket. (This ties in with my story. Elizabeth doesn't really have a locket) Seeing the crest upon it, she refused to open it, but one day, while using dark magic, she accidentally resurrected the countess. Elizabeth used Drolta as her slave, creating unimaginable monsters. She fled to her castle, the Castle Proserpina, in England, where she plotted to resurrect her fallen Uncle, Count Dracula, but was killed by a Spanish Warrior, Eric Lecarde, and his best friend, John Morris. In my story, Elizabeth was executed, but she didn't stay dormant in her locket for 500 years. She was somehow brought back around the times after Sonia Belmont defeated Dracula, and met a Vampire Warrior by the name of Jadin Tray. They fell in love and Elizabeth bore Jadin's twin children. Their son is Zadin Tray, the most powerful Vampire aside from Elizabeth and the oldest known living Vampire, Mazier. The other child is... for me to know and you to find out by reading the story. However, in my story, Elizabeth WAS killed by Eric Lecarde. Her locket fell into Proserpina Lake, the lake in which the Castle was erected in, and was found 80 years later by a mortal amateur Witch, Clara Belnade. Clara has a spell upon the locket in which opening the locket won't resurrect Elizabeth, nor any other spell unless you acted like an idiot and cast the right spell, which is what Clara does, but Bartley is ressurected as a mortal. |
| Elizabeth Bartley is (C) Konami. This character is heavily believed to be Based off of the "Bloody Countess," Elizabeth Bathory, who was a Romanian Countess as well. Several other characters Have been based off of Bathory, such as Carmilla in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. |
