| Dracula, and is Alucard's younger brother by 10 years. No one knows how he took the name 'D', but it is suggested that he took Dracula's letter signature. If you ever read or saw Bram Stoker's Dracula, the Count always signed his letters 'D'. Could this possibly be the origin of Morian's nickname? No one really knows D's real name.I just went with Morian because it was the only name that I saw on Fanfiction.net that sounded reasonable for someone like him. In my story, D stayed with Alucard and Sonia Belmont, helping the girl train. Although he stayed behind when she went into Castlevania after Alucard, D supported Sonia throughout her pregnancy with Alucard's child which she discovered after she defeated Dracula. When Sonia was banished fron Transylvania, the 13-year old D ran away to become a Hunter, and made a pact with Alucard that they would never meet again unless by fate. He fights with a sword that is about as long as he is tall. That's about 7 feet. Can you say, "Move Over, Sephiroth?" Born with a parasite on his left hand, you'd think D would be pretty weak, because parasites feed off of their host. WRONG. In some people's opinion, the Left Hand shares a mutual relationship with D. (One can't live without the other) I've heard one rumor that D was weak in the womb, and would have died if the parasite hadn't infected him. Now, to tag along with this, they cannot be separated or else they both die. Or they can be separated for a short amount of time. The parasite is in the form of a human face on his left palm and continuously taunts D, mocks him, and sometimes insults him. Hard to believe it's his sidekick. D likes to hide his emotions a LOT. In fact, a lot of people consider it a blessing if D talks more than four words to them. (In english, mimes are more verbal than him) He yearns to share the warmth of another human's heart (quoted by the Left Hand in 'Vampire Hunter D' the '85 movie) but he believes that because of his accursed blood, he cannot possibly feel love, despite what his older brother has felt. He falls for the lovely Sora Tonitrus, but she's fighting with herself over who she should be with. Because of this, a huge love triangle ensues between Kurt Wagner, Sora, and D. |
