| Name: Clara Belnade Age: 16 Race: Human (Witch) Role Extremety: Main Character Appearances: Demon Within (Main Character) Info: Clara is a direct descendant of Sypha Belnades, the mage who aided Trevor Belmont in his quest to defeat Dracula. And with Sypha's blood came her powers. Clara is an amateur witch, and can't pressure herself too much, but once she meets Alucard and learns of his losses in life, she wants to perform a spell which witches have tried and failed in either disaster or they didn't work: Resurrection. But before we talk about that, let's talk about what will go wrong. Clara found Elizabeth Bartley's locket, the one that conceals her spirit, underneath Proserpina Lake in England. The lake that Bartley's castle collapsed into when the countess was killed by Eric Lecarde, and the one that Bartley's locket is hidden beneath. Alucard tells Clara what that locket is, and not to let Elizabeth out, Clara puts a spell on it to where not even she can release it, and she knows how to lock pick very well... OK, so, Bartley's sealed, no worries, right? WRONG. After Jadin Tray discovers that Clara has the locket that holds his lover, he's after Clara faster than a praying mantis on a slug. (OK, bad analogy. So what?) And discovering that just opening the locket won't get Elizabeth back, Jadin's even more pissed. This is what brings Clara's real motive into resurrecting the Belmonts. She figures if she can bring them back, not only will Alucard have his loved ones back, but they can help defeat Jadin. |
| As a plus, Clara also throws in the ressurection of Alucard's mother, Lisa Szligany. So, she's casting the spell. Everything's going smoothly until she has to say the part where she wants to ressurect a bloodline. She is about to say "Belmont" when the locket that holds Bartley starts glowing. On accident, Clara says "Tepes". Quickly realizing her mistake, she shouts "Belmont". Then she falls unconscious and doesn't know what happens. Turns out, Clara ressurected the entire Belmont Bloodline with Lisa, but wanna know something totally COOL? They're all Vampires!(except for Lisa) It's too complicated here to explain it, but read the story and you'll figure out why, but for some reason, Elizabeth Bartley has also been brought back, only she's mortal! Could this tie in with the Belmonts' vampiric nature? |
