Nyan Nyan doesn't eat birds, at least not Iago, since he talks, but Iago is still afraid of her (Rajah's bad enough, now we have a cat that can FLY?) but Nyan Nyan knows that Iago's afraid of him, and will sometimes chase him to keep the bird in line. Nyan Nyan has some powers, but not as many as the girls. "Nuku Nuku Dash" is one of her powers. Basically, she flies at the enemy, knocking them over.
