I was afraid to give love a chance
Coz it can end in just one glance

I’ve been hiding these feelings for so long
I just didn’t want to end up all alone

I felt so safe and secure in his arms
For he sheltered me from danger & from harm

Together we loved, laughed, and danced
It was with him I experienced romance

He makes my life worth living for
& I can’t fight what I feel anymore

Still I kept all I wanted to say on hold
Now he’s gone, & what I wanted to say remained untold…
