A Sacrifice!
It hurts
to think about
you everyday
But never have you near
that is why from time to time
I'll often shed a tear
No one can imagine
All the hurt that I do feel
Hoping you'll return to me
So my broken heart can heal
I believe
when it comes to true love
that there is no denial
But to know exactly what I want
My heart is put to trial
Yet I reach the same verdict
Each and every day
I guess that love works
in mysterious ways
Because no matter what happens
I always choose you
I love you so much
& I know this love is true
However I made a decision–
I finally let you go
And I learnt of a sacrifice
I never thought I'd come to know
Just
to see you happy
is all that matters to me
Even though it really hurts
That's the way it should be
I know it doesn't seem that way
But believe it because it's true
I just wish that you could love me
