(Metaphor 1)
(Metaphor 2)
You carelessly pass
the "public fishing"
sign
As your
suade shoes
stepped on the
ping pong ball
causing you to fall through
the thin ice.
The ice traps you like
fly paper.
Slowly
the rockband plays
the last song.
And while you were
out THERE
how did it feel
to lasso the falling star
with a
kitestring
and with the stars earnings
spent everything
at once.
All you can say
to these thoughts now
is
better late,
than never.
The summer wind
rolls through
the tightly screened
porch
as you eat
your McDonald's
breakfast
which was given to you
by another
"yes" person.
Outside the mountain
grows, trying to be
seen next to
the placid lake
which has fed the
wild rose.
It's a
tortoise and hare
situation.
You close this file
put it back into the
file cabinet
where you search for
another
memory.
