| If I Sat Still If I sat still, and didn't talk, still as a stone, time wouldn't stand still. If I sat still, and didn't talk, would I still have to pretend? Pretend I'm happy? If I sat still, and didn't talk, would the words you're going to tell me, affect me as much? If I sat real still, and didn't talk, would you not hurt me, if I wouldn't respond back? If I sat REAL still, and didn't talk, would you still love me? And not break up? |

| Questions Don't yell don't shout for I don't see, how that answers me. All I asked was "why?" is the sky blue? is the grass green? Why do mourning doves cry? Why are we even bothering? For I don't know. I don't know, though it seems I never do. But the real question here is: "Why do you make me cry?" |
