Reincarnation

I had a dream.  I was in this ship with a friend of mine, and we were talking about... talking, I think.  Other things, as well.  I guess I'm sorta important or something.
But then I woke up.
I was standing in a ruined building in a burned-out city, except this city was weird.  There was no air dome as far as the eye could see.  There was a large red planet in the sky, and two moons, one green and one silver.
"Are you awake?"
I turned around and I saw three people standing in the ruined walls.  The first person was dressed in a dark purple-and-scarlet cloak about his shoulders concealing part of his otherwise black outfit, and he had a wrist piercing on each wrist.  His black hair was gelled into a veritable crown of spikes.
The second person was dressed in black kevlar armour down his whole front, and he had a twin-edged metallic sword in his hand.  His hair was long, like a woman's, and he had lips red like wine.  He had six other blades all down his legs, strapped onto his back, and on his belt.
The third was probably the oddest of all.  He looked like a druid.  There's just no other way to put it.  He looked like a druid.  I couldn't see his face, for he kept it concealed behind a hood.  His cloak concealed the rest of him, and it was dark and thick.
"Who-who are you people?" I asked.  "Where am I?"
The first, in the purple-and-scarlet, seemed to speak for the rest of them.
"I am Parliament, the first of twelve.  The guy in the cloak is, was, and will be King.  The one with the seven blades is Rook."
I nodded, placing the faces (or hoods) with the names.  I turned away then, pacing around the ruined building.  I picked up a brick and examined it in my hands.
"What is this place?  Who destroyed it?"
"This is a world far from your system, the moon Maitraion," explained Parliament.  "The inhabitants have left, because they've been running.  They've been running a long time, but they're going to be coming home soon.  You know one of them.  Her name is Destruction."
"What are they running from?" I asked.  "And why did they leave so much behind?"
"They're running from us, from the shadows over their shoulder," Parliament mused.  "This was the only Earth-like world they found.  Or rather, close enough for their purposes.  It's a desert world.  They left five hundred years ago when they saw them coming."
"Saw who coming?"
"The aliens."
"Aren't these people aliens?" I asked.
"They're part human, and part... well, nevermind that.  It was a long time ago."
"So why did you bring me here?" I inquired.
"I am trying to teach you what you will need to know when the time comes for you to teach the world," he said.  "But enough about Maitraion.  Things'll get complicated enough without talking about them for too long."
"If they're part human, then why-?"  But he put a finger to my lips.
"I have to ask you to do something for me," Parliament asked.
"I'll see what I can do," I offered.
"I need you to reincarnate me," Parliament said.
"Huh?"
"It's simple.  Let Rook plant me in your womb."
I didn't quite understand the request, but he seemed utterly trustable.  And, for some reason, it didn't seem like that weird of a request.  So I nodded.
The way the 'planting' worked was weird.  I couldn't understand it at all, much less describe it.  It was as wonderful as Ganycent had been horrible, and then some.
And then I fell asleep again.
