Never been alone
Never been this far from home
And I'm certian that I never needed you
But I know I'm lost now
We take ideas and feelings
From the picture show
Reenact the scenes like marionettes
Becoming things we're not supposed to be
I could embrace you like another chapter
In our decadent lives
I could tear at the sky
That is at war with the ocean
Constantly trying to consume
It's where I thought I saw your face
There in those murky depths
I could hold you tight in my arms
And sob while your body shakes
From the drug overdose
It's what I was supposed to do, right?
