The ambience in tranquility
We are harmonizing as the sun takes it's leave
Just because I can't see you
Doesn't mean that I can't feel your hands
Moving along my spine
Along the context of the night
And I wish this night could last forever
She spake a midnight hymn
In the secrecy of the moon
Coffee and the late matinee
The dew of the night
The distinct scent of cigarettes
The hair of a broken child
Moving with every motion taken
I catch a flash of heaven in the fire
As I pretend to burn your your picture
A picture of you I never had
Have I been dreaming all along
Did I imagine you the entire time
I am a memory of a graveflower
An untouched daisy near the burning wreckage
Of a horrible car crash
An irony in petals and ash
With beauty amongst such carnage
It's no wonder God hates us the way he does
