Soylent green through it's lips
I fade in and out of this world
Like the flickering of a candle on the table
Scented juniper filling the air all around
I slice your eyes open in the beauty of the darkness
I can imagine streams of light escaping from empty sockets
Not for the sake of her love
But for the sake of my insanity
I lay awake at night
Voicing the tragedies of us all
She bore a mannequin's figure
Pronouncing the colors and variations of a summer dress
She mourned the city in an amber aura
And a smile that was contemporary but provocative still
A demon will drag her body across the cellar floor
And string her upside down from the beams
Flayed and missing vital organs
Displayed like a gutted animal
She is gone just before the interlude begins
She bares the same fortune as the moon
As she once bore the same smile
She is gone now
And I pray for the death of the world
The beautiful psalms of hades
Somtimes we climb the furnace at night
And make way to the roof tops
To lose all sense of reality
Even if its just for one night
I remember reptiles blood on the sidewalk
Smeared all over bare hands
Like a gift of weather in the summer
Or the promise of death in the winter
I collect the pieces in a small pan on the floor
Placed perfectly under a bloodied skeleton
And I run my fingers down the notches of the spine
Percision is everything and anything
Your mutilation was for God
But your soul
Your soul was always for me
I hear it in movements like the symphony of an opera
Always in motion
I wish you could caress my sun bleached bones
With a pornographic memory
I wish there were mortal lacerations on my hands and face
And I wish I could see you one last time
Like a portrait of the madonna post-mortem
You should know that the devil is real
And that he is with me now
You should know that
I was born to murder the world
And we are all going to die
