Back to My Writings
Goddess reigns down in my line of vision
There are tables and people sitting in the area near her
But there might as well have been nothing
Everything blurs and slips out of focus
Like a blanket of locusts swarming in the distance
The greatest day in june was slow and spiritless
And just out of reach
I heard her grand sigh
Just over the sound of the refridgerator drone
And the elegance of her movements
Following the keys of a grand piano
Our lips touch and mimic the sensation of breathing
I can rewind and play back her memory
Like the footage of a ghost wandering my home
I can kill us both like children in a locust storm
The piano wire wrapped around my neck
Will consume in the key of E
