Skidmore defeats Glade, becomes the fifth man to hold NCW NY title In a hard-fought encounter, Skidmore (now known as Doctor Phil) defeated Glade in a grueling encounter, becoming only the fifth man in four years to hold the NCW New York State Championship. Glade, Skidmore to go In Your House on May 14 The NCW NY Executive Committee announced that NCW NY's next event will be on May 14, 2005 in Alfred, New York. This date will be the tenth anniversary of the very first In Your House pay-per-view event and this event has been named in tribute. NCW NY In Your House will feature the first in-ring meeting between Glade and Skidmore since July of 2003, as the NCW NY Champion puts his title on the line in a no-disqualification match. Skidmore returns, defeats Orion at Hatred In a triumphant return after a long hiatus due to injury, NCW World Television Champion Skidmore defeated Orion at Hatred on April 16. This hard-fought battle culminated when Skidmore broke out of Orion's Fade to Black and slammed him into the ground to get the pinfall. NCW No Remorse to include NCW NY match The epic Empty Arena Match from No Escape 2005 will be broadcast in its entirety on February 26 as a part of NCW's 'No Remorse' supercard. Glade regains the New York title at No Escape 2005  In one of the most violent matches in NCW New York history, Glade defeated Orion in an Empty Arena Match to regain the NCW NY State Title at No Escape on January 23. The two men brawled into the bleachers at Alfred University's Merrill Field, smashed each other with barrels, and slammed each other on the football field. Ultimately, though, Gladegot the pin in 18:22 after a devastating Time Machine kick caught Orion right in the jaw.
