This continues to not quite contain my body of work, because, well, this is a limited resource and I just don't have room. However, here, have some crap:
Obstacle: This is a piano and clarniet work, which I entitled obstacle because... well, I'm a masochist. It derived from a piano work I wrote because I cannot play two against three on piano to save my life. It continued in that vein when I decided the melody most appropriately worked on clarinet - not my primary instrument. And then I had to do repetition up the octave. Oi. I'm a right bastard to myself some days.
Dido's Lament Variation: This was a theory project from sophomore year, IIRC. I, unfortunately, preferred some particular gestures which do not make for accurate part writing. However, I stuck most of them back in after turning in the assignment, so I still got an A. ;)
This work exhibits both my flute playing skillz, yo, and my vocal stylings. My very poorly enunciated vocal stylings, because I had not yet learned how to sing. Not that I can really claim that distinction today. *shrug*
Lord Cavity's Audio Shrine: Just as creepy as it sounds. :P This is a piece I wrote for one of my online friends who I quite admire. Lord Cavity is, of course, his online handle. I got the inspiration for one of the melodies for this whilst in the shower, precipitating a very quick rinse off and dart across campus followed by ten hours in the mac lab. I love being an eccentric musician. :) I regret that this is all midi, but short of getting the power to hire a complete choir, what could I do, anyhow?
Lullaby: So named beacuse I decided it was repetitive enough to fall asleep to. I feel like I need more editing on this, as I do of many other of my works, too, truly. At this point, though, I am unable to do it, because I no longer have an editable copy of the original. I've tried rewriting the whole thing out a second time in Finale, but by the time I get that accurate, I can no longer critically listen to the blammed work.
I do feel there are good moments in here, but I also feel that I may not get any inspiration to fix the thing until I have a chamber group I can get to play it out for me so I can *hear* the thing. Eh.
Spifferito's Sonatina: Heh, yes. Another song for a person I know online. I wrote this while I was living with my sister in Utah. I found, upsettingly enough, that the melody was catchy enough that I was getting my own music stuck in my head and wondering what it was. Eh, I'm not always the brightest bulb in the box.
This is purely my own flute playing, and I will hopefully never go so perfectionistically crazy as to feel that I simply must re-record the thing, as, again, I do not have the appropriate materials on hand, truly. I miss living on a campus filled with music majors. *sigh*
Flute Quartet in G: This is something I worked onbriefly at the end of my senior year in high school, then finished off freshman year of uni. Somewhere I have a copy of my school's flute ensemble performing it, but to be honest, I feel they kind of... well... sucked. Instead, this copy is me in quartet with myself. Why? Because I can.
To be honest, if there's ever any more stuff on here, it will be because I've relocated, I imagine. I just don't have the room. If, however, you find these works so incredibly wonderful that you simply must have more, feel free to contact me and ask. Likelihood? Yeah. Right.
