| Aristotle is known as the first taxonimer. He was known to have classified two kingdoms. The kingdoms are animal and plant. Aristotle lived from 384-322. He was known as a philosepher. Aristotle was born in Stageirus, on the Chalcidic penensula of northern Greece. |
| His father was Nicomachus, a medical doctor, while his mother was named Phaestis. Nicomachus was cetainly living in Chalcidice when Aristotle was born and he was problably born in that region too. Aristotle's mother, Phaestis was born in Chalcis in Euboea and her family owned property there. Aristotle's father no doubt wanted him to become a doctor becuase tradition was for medical skills to be kept secret and kept in the family. Instead, later on he became the great philosipher he is known as today. |
