WARZONE MONTREAL REPORT
Warzone Montreal was the first Jyhad Team Draft Tournament organized in Quebec. This new format was a real success players constructed decks using Jyhad boosters (5) and then played with their partner against two other teams per table.
Lots of fun was had on that day: from anticipation and excitement during the card selection process to struggles and victories through teamwork during the actual tournament.
This great event was organized by Rafid Armani, Prince of Quebec he deserves a great round of applause for a job well done!
Many new players were present and participated, most of them faired pretty well
(a draft tournament is a great equalizer)
They also got to keep the cards they selected during the draft, adding to their collection

(they won all of their games that day!)
Personally I did very well actually WE did very well, I was paired with my long time friend and rival ;) Mark Landry. I played a Ventrue based vote bleed deck and Mark an ever dangerous Tremere "I do you 5 damage not preventable" deck
We managed to take 1 Vp in a very close and to the wire first game (Marie Pierre and Matthieu won)
Our second game was one for the memory books! I managed to get two crucial votes out early costing my prey and Mark's prey 12 blood in total.Rafid and Marie Neige never recovered...Helped by my partner's timely misdirections I then ousted my next two preys with decisive bleeds
leaving my predator "sandwiched" between Mark and I( what a dream come true!).
We reached the finals, where we had a fairly good start and I was on the brink of ousting my Prey when Marie Pierre used her intercept to save him, costing me 6 blood and a unique occasion (4 tapped vampires).
Marie Pierre and Matthieu got stronger as the game went along and my prey helped by a Succubus Club card was put on life support long enough to see me fall under the many bleeds and Muddled Vampire Hunter attacks.
Nevertheless it was a great game, where the momentum kept shifting sides at first.
