PRINCE COUNTY FIRST AID

Prince County First Aid is a volunteer based non-profit organization that relies on our volunteers to do these events.we are locally owned and operated we are based in Summerside,P.E.I .You must have a valid first aid and CPR certificate. If you are interested in going into the medical field first-aid is a good way of learning. We are also a part of community service bursary program for students in grade 11 or grade 12 if you need more info contact your school.

If you want training in first aid or C.P.R, please contact John Mitchell at 902-854-2909 and he will provide you with dates and times of the training.

Space is limited,so please book early.

Prince County First Aid is looking for volunteers to help us do events.The first thing is not what you can do for us but what you can do to help you community. If you enjoy helping and meeting new people of all ages, and you are at least 17 years of age and you would like to join our team, contact the president, DONALD CALLBECK at 902-432-0004 or vice-president WALLACE CALLBECK at 902-888-2892 or ask one of our volunteers CHUCK HOWELL at the many events we do, and they will give you information on becoming a member.

We are also a member of the E.M.O.of Prince Edward Island and the Summerside E.M.O. program.we also have three members that has passed the C.H.A's Safety Program. Plus our members have Advanced Standard first aid training.(defibrillator unit,back board and cervical collar, etc) We cover events like: Ball games, soccer games, hockey games, horse shows, and festivals and much more. If you have an event big or small and you need first aid, we will our best to cover your event.we might be small but we have done 10 national sporting events. and many festivals and many more events.You can call the president or e-mail him and he will send you a contract to fill out. Please give us at least 2 weeks notice in advance (if possible) .

Not all events can be accepted due to the limited hours our volunteers can offer.

We also have a trailer that is set up for first-aid that we can bring to your event (minimum of 3 days).as we have more info we will post it for you. come say hello tell us what you think about our page. we are look forward to 2004. at this time we would like to thank all of the people that we provided first aid for. and we hope to be there with you in 2004.and a thank you to the host committee's and there volunteers for all your help.

Have you ask your self if a person is choking or passes out do i know what to do or your child get hurt playing out side or in the house if you answer no to any of the above questions well you need to get first aid traning. You will see above the name john mitchell give him a call and book a date to get your first aid or if you had it years ago then please get it updated it may cost a few dollars but the life you save my be some one close or a stranger.
