Jordan Hansel drained 8 of 13 shots from beyond the 3-point line and scored a game-high 25 points to lead the St. Cloud Tech Tigers over the Warriors 75-69.

Landon Stanfield led Brainerd with 23 points, 18 of which came in the first half. Brett Cloutier and C.J Peeters each scored 16 points for the Warriors.

Nate Uphus was the second leading scorer for Tech with 19 points.

The Warriors tallied thier first win of the season with a 63-49 victory over the Fergus Falls Otters Friday.

Landon Stanfield led the Warriors with 21 points. C.J. Peeters added 13 points in a convincing Warrior victory.

Alex Tideman poured in 20 points to lead the Sartell Sabres over the Brainerd Warriors 64-60. Trailing by 13 points in the second half, the Warriors battled back to come within two points of the Sabres 62-60.

Brainerd had trouble at the foul line and ball control, shooting only 55 percent(12-22) from the free-throw line and committing 22 turnovers. Landon Stanfield scored a game high 25 points for the Warriors while C.J. Peeters and Mike Mahlum each added nine.

Willmar 81
Brainerd 71
Kyle Townswick went off for 36 points, including seven 3-pointers, as the Willmar Cardinals topped the Brainerd Warriors 81-71. The Cardinals shot an impressive 72 percent from the field in the victory.

Landon Stanfield led the Warriors in scoring with 19 points. C.J. Peeters added 18 points. The Warriors also shot well from the field with a 58 percent field-goal percentage.

St. Paul Arlington 61
Landon Stanfield scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Warriors to a 83-61 victory over St. Paul Arlington in the first game of the Brainerd Holiday Classic.

C.J. Peeters collected an impressive stat line with 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Danny Pearson led the Phoenix in scoring with 19 points.

In a thrilling game and the Warriors' best performance of the year, Benilde-St. Margaret's pulled out a 80-79 win after shooting 90 percent (20-22) from the free throw line and a combined 45 points from sophomores Jordan Taylor and Armond Battle.

Landon Stanfield poured in 25 points to lead the Warriors. Brett Cloutier added 17 points and C.J Peeters tallied 16.

Taylor collected 25 points for the Red Knights while Battle dropped 20.

Brett Cloutier made effective use of the midrange jumper as he collected 21 points in a Little Falls 59-56 victory. Down three points with under three seconds left in the game, Mike Mahlum attempted a falling away 3-pointer that rimmed out of the basket as time expired. C.J. Peeters was the second leading scorer for the Warriors with 11 points.

Dustin Parker's 17 points, including three 3-pointers, were tops for Little Falls. Phil Hochsprung added 13 points for the Flyers.

St. Cloud Apollo 74

In yet another close game, the Warriors fell to the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles 74-70. Preston Whitaker led the offense with center Seth Noreen injured, going off for 28 points, a game high. Four different Warriors tried their hand at slowing down the guard with intense defense, which made the 28 piont performance even more impressive.

Landon Stanfield led Brainerd in scoring with 26 points. C.J. Peeters contributed 16 points and fell one rebound shy of a double-double with nine.

Overall: Brd 2-6 (1-5)

Rocori 71

The Brainerd Warriors were unable to recover from a 26 point outburst from the Rocori Spartans as they fell 71-33.

The Spartans were ahead by only two points, 20-18, at halftime but pulled ahead quickly in the second half. The Warriors were hampered by poor shooting in both halves, shooting 21 percent (12 of 56) from the field.

Mike Mahlum was the leading scorer for Brainerd with eight points and Landon Stanfield, hampered by an ankle injury, added six points.

Chad Willenbring was the leading scorer for Rocori with 19 points.

Moorhead 69

The string of losing close games just can not come to an end for the Brainerd Warriors as they fell to the Moorhead Spuds 69-67.

Down by four points, Landon Stanfield was fouled in the act of shooting a 3-pointer. Stanfield drained the first two shots to bring the Warriors within two points before intentially missing the third. The ball bounced off the rim back to Stanfield for a quick shot, but it hit square off the backboard and glanced the front of the rim before falling out.

Stanfield was the leading scorer for the Warriors with 16 points. Mike Mahlum added 14 points and nine rebounds for Brainerd.
