Outta Control--Captain Chaotica!!'s Ranma 1/2 Season Four Screenshots!

Hello, all, and welcome to Season Four. Here we'll meet the Headmaster from Hell, Ranma's mother, see the famous Hiryu Shoten Ha storyline, Mousse leaves to go back to China--or DOES he...and more! Stay tuned!

Episode 1: The Return of the Hawaii'an Headmaster from Hell!

"Little wahini" gets ticked off. Ranma kicks the Princicpal in the face when he tries to give her a bowl-cut, but manages to do so in a helpless little island-girl in distress kind of way. Only Ranma could do THAT...
"Island girl...doesn't want you in his island world.." Sing along! A cute close-up of Ranma in his "innocent island damsel in distress" disguise, swingin' on a vine.
"You foul, treacherous, low-born SWINE of a headmaster!" Kuno takes his sword to the foul wretch...not knowing that the foul wretch is his own FATHER! Unfortunately, the anime-version episode never gives us that detail...only the manga! Hmphn.

Episode 3: Ranma Gets Weak!

What's THIS? Now that Ranma is weak, all of his enemies are lining up to beat the crap out of him! Mousse of course thinks that now he can finally marry Shampoo...
"Oh, dad, you're as weak as ever!" Ukyo's plan for the future is to leave Ranma JUST the way he is, and use him as she sees fit! She will both run the restaurant and defend him from his enemies, while he stays home with the kids and kinda vaguely plays with them, in his weakened state. Talk about your Amazon households...
"Shampoo! I finally did it! I beat Ranma! Mousse is ESTATICALLY happy...too bad the circumstances make the "fight" invalid...
"Oh, Mousse, marry you? I don't know, this is all so SUDDEN!" Nearsightedness strikes again...

Episode 4: Eureka! The Desperate Move of Desperation!

Humiliating Photo-Fu! YOWZA! In this humiliating photo, which Genma is using to help train Ranma not to give in to his emotions, Ranma shows about as much flesh as you can possibly get away with without going X-rated...and Ukyo LIKES the picture! Dirty-girl...(not like I'm one to talk, I'm the anti-Happosai after all...)
"Give it up!" Ryoga gives Ranma a good BOOT to the head!
"It hurts me to see you like this, Ranma." This picture really isn't that important to the PLOT per se, but have you ever seen Ryoga looking so pretty and delicate before? Elf-boy all of a sudden! I had to grab it.
"What's with the get-up, old ghoul?" Ranma models the weird harness that's meant to hold his battle-aura in.
"Did anyone get the number of that tornado?" Ryoga lies unconscious on the ground after becoming the first guinea-pig victim of Ranma's Hiryu Shoten Ha. Looks like it WORKS! Now to use it on Happosai...

Episode 5: Showdown! Can Ranma Make a Comeback?

"Rest in peace, Ryoga." Ukyo feels so sorry for Ryoga, being in pain, that she...BOPS him upside the head with a mallet to send him to sleep! Um....okay...
"Take it, Ranma!" Akane risks her life by deliberately plunging herself into the deadly tornado created by the Hiryu Shoten Ha...just to give the moxibustion chart to Ranma. Geez.
"NOOOOO!!!!" The intense winds rip the chart into teeny tiny pieces! This shot is rather dramatic and touching, don't you think?

Episode 6: Here Comes Ranma's Mom!

"You must GO!" Ranma's enemies would be ESTATIC if he were to leave and move in with his mom instead!
"You must STAY!" Shampoo, Kodachi, and Ukyo would be less than thrilled if that happened, however.
Let's team up! Only for a short while, of course.
You'll probably never see THIS happen again. To train them for what a mother-in-law will probably expect, Happosai dresses up in drag and forces the three suitors to work their fingers to the bone, as he pretends to be the mother-in-law. Shampoo, Amazon Warrior, Akane and Ukyo the tomboys and Kodachi the deadly noblewoman (or so she says), all doing HOUSEWORK! Yeah, right...
"Ranma, dear!" Ranma finally meets his mother at last...she works at the circus?! And who the heck is this "Sakura" person anyway, I thought she was supposed to be Nodoka Saotome? FOUL! As far as I'm concerned, this is an alternate-universe mom, not Ranma's REAL mother.

Episode 7: From Ryoga with Love

Ryoga writes a letter by candlelight in his little camping-cabin out in the woods.
P-Chan's Lover?! Seems like this little girl piggy, who met him first when he was in his cursed form, not only LIKES him, but can still sense who he is even when he's human! Now if only Akane Tendo was as bright as a pig...

Episode 8: My Fiancee, the Cat

ET, move over! Shampoo leaps through the air on her bicycle and I caught this rather cool shot of her going so high she's seemingly in front of the moon. Too bad it's blurry, but she was kinda far away.
"I love it! Really! Nice bell...nice bell..." Shampoo-neko FORCES Ranma to accept her "kind gift" of a giant magical novelty bell...
Wouldn't a simple tap on the shoulder work just as well?! Akane wakes up Ranma in her own adorable little way--by SMASHING his face in! Seriously, she heard the bell in her room and a weird voice saying, "Be my bride" and she assumed it was Ranma playing a nasty practical joke. It wasn't...
Sniff Saddened that Shampoo, who owns the small bell, doesn't want to be his bride, the giant ghost-cat boo-hoos all over the place.
"Oh, Ranma, how can you say such mean things about me?" In the guise of crying into his arms, Shampoo secretly plants the small bell on Ranma, then kicks him into the water. NOW who will the ghost-cat think is his bride, hmmn? I would say that he had it coming to him for calling her a "stupid, selfish cat-girl" except that she IS all those things and I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment...
Darling! You're purrfect! Now here's a sight you don't see everyday--a CAT hugging a HUMAN. Of course, this being Ranma...
...he doesn't take to it very well. Yeah, here's the female side, goin' Cat Fist. Let's face it, male or female, Ranma makes about the CUTEST catlike human in all creation. Well, I think so, anyway. It's weird how catlike he can seem without changing his actual BODY at all..just his behaviour!

Episode 11: Step Outside!

A worried mother. The mother of the "sickly, delicate child" that takes in Genma-panda as a pet. He's a total brat, but she's got classy fashion sense, which is why I rated her worth a picture.
A Nerima Christmas Card. This picture of the mother looking out the window is just SO pretty and old-fashioned Christmas like, as well as being sad, dark, and lonely. What can I say, it's another ARTSY shot, you know I like those!
"AAACCCKK!!" Ranma takes dying on the video game rather hard...
Tendo Christmas Eve. I like this picture. The decorations, yet the dimmed lighting and the fact that there are only two people, gives it a feeling of subdued WAITING. As if it's not the holiday yet, but it will be soon, like it's late at night on Christmas Eve and the kids are in bed, and it's just the grownups staying up. I don't know. I can't describe it. But it's got a cool mood.

Episode 12: Ryoga's Tendo Dojo Houseguest Diary.

Ryoga, do you MIND?! Ryoga is SO nervous and freaked out about getting to actually study in AKANE'S ROOM at her side, that he forgets to sit on the other CHAIR that is provided...

Episode 14: Extra! Extra! Kuno and Nabiki! Read All About It!

"This...THIS is the woman who is my FATE? HER?!" Kuno was told that the first woman who crossed the bridge at a specific time would be his true one and only love, by a visiting fortune-teller...and it's NABIKI?!
"Uh-huh." When Kuno takes her out on a date, Nabiki seems more interested in her yummy cheesecake than in him...
Nihao my concubines?! Kuno solves his indecision problem about the THREE girls by not deciding at all, as is his way. He says that Nabiki Tendo will be his wife and the other two will be his concubines! As you can imagine, he is soon the recipient of a three-way stratosphere kick...

Episode 15: Ryoga the Strong...TOO Strong.

EEEEK!! Ranma and Ryoga are majorly freaked and embarrassed when Akane catches them RIGHT in the middle of Ranma trying to scrub off Ryoga's weird tattoo. She notices that it's exactly the same as the one on P-Chan's stomach! EEEEP! Gasp! What will become of this...?

Episode 16: Close Call! P-Chan's Secret!

An opening! Disguised as a "volley-ball girl", Ranma finally manages to actually HIT Ryoga for the first time since he got the tatoo! Is there hope to defeat him and get it off after all...?

Episode 17: The Egg-Catcher Man!

Ever wondered what Kasumi looked like as a little kid? Thanks to this flashback scene, now we know.

Episode 18: Ranma and Kunos...First Kiss?!

"Oh, it's lovely! (Somebody shoot me)". Ranma goes fake googly-lovey eyes at the sunrise, when Kuno wakes him up at the crack of DAWN to begin their date! Gyah...
The Wishbringer! Kuno's magical sword, which will grant three wishes, but only to its owner, and they must be spoken with the owner's voice. So how to get him to make a wish on Ranma's behalf...hmmmm...and how DO you bring up the subject of, "I turn into a girl with cold water, I'm really a guy, and I want to be a guy all the time." when you're on a DATE as "The Pig-Tailed Girl"?!
"Ooh, Kuno-baby..." Ranma, you may want that wish pretty damn badly, but GEEZ, dude, have some PRIDE!

Episode 19: Shampoo's Red Thread of Dread!

P-Chan? I didn't know you could fly. One of Shampoo's earlier attempts to get the destiny-linking thread on Ranma falls a bit short of its intended goal...she dangles a loop of it over the doorway of Ranma's house, and Ryoga leaps into it instead! Oops...
"Oh, Shampoo, you know you're the only girl for me." Ranma is under her spell but good in this picture. Look carefully at their two intertwined hands and you'll see the red thread that is causing all this.
"Back off, spatula-wench!" Naturally Kuno is FOR the marriage of Shampoo and Ranma just as much as Ukyo, Kodachi, and Mousse (and Akane, though she won't admit it) are against it. Here we see two characters clash who normally have little to do with each other--an interesting shot.
"That stupid Ranma can do whatever he wants, I don't care!" Methinks the lady doth protest too much...Akane SAYS she doesn't care but I think her expression in this picture belies her words...
"Do you, Shampoo, take this man, Ranma Saotome, to be your lawfully wedded property..." A "romantic" shot of the "happy couple" done up in their finery, just before the wedding...
"Yeah, I'VE got somethin' ta say!" A couple of the angry jilted suitors, Mousse and Ukyo, burst in the door to protest the marriage. I've often thought that Mousse and Ukyo would make an interesting couple so when I saw a picture that actually HAD the two of them together, I just had to grab it.

Episode 20: Mousse Goes Home to the Country!

In the "This Never Happens" category... A lovely daydream of Mousse's, in which Shampoo is in love with him...
BANG! And a harsh jolt back to the even harsher reality...
"Stupid Mousse! Waiter who fight with customer is bad for business!" To show what he thinks of a too-smooth customer who tries to put the moves on Shampoo, Mousse turns the man into a dagger pincushion!
Mommy Amazon Dearest! Mousse's mom, who in my opinion looks just like the nearsighted Chinese Amazon version of Elmyra Gainsborough, (Aeris's adopted mom from FF7), but that's just me...
"Today is the day I FINALLY defeat Ranma Saotome...or DIE trying!" Mousse makes a vow, standing tall, with his glasses off. Excuse me while I pant and drool for a while...oh, my, he's beautiful when he's angry...
"GET IT OFF ME!" Another one of those wonderfully wacky nearsighted mistakes...Mousse not only glomps a MALE customer instead of Shampoo, but he glomps him around the WAIST. Um...dude... if you were aiming for the head/shoulders area, even Shampoo herself isn't THAT short...
"FIST OF THE WHITE SWAN!" I love this dramatic picture with the swan behind him spreading its wings out the same way as Mousse's long flowing white robe-sleeves. Aiyaa, such a pretty bird-boy!
"Have a safe trip! Don't forget to write!" Shampoo is SO sympathetic as Mousse, with his little heart broken in a million places, prepares to leave for China. But to give Ranma some credit, he doesn't look anywhere near as happy as Shampoo. In fact, he looks kinda sad. Good for him!
"Don't try to stop me!" Mousse looks back over his shoulder with a HEART-rendingly sad expression in those beautiful big baby greens. Of course, he hopes somebody WILL stop him..and of course, they don't, because he's Mousse, and Shampoo is an unfeeling ice-wench who will never love him. (Bite me, that's what I think of her. Deal with it.) Awwwwww...
"Oh, what a plump little fowl!" Kodachi, the Evil Poisoning Psycho-Bitch Queen, grabs our poor little Mu-Mu-Chan with her nasty red ribbon! Aiyaa!
"Quack!" Beat up, poisoned, and very lonely, our poor little ducky looks up into the stars and cries. Awww...
"Forgive me, my love, for now...I must...die." Kuno can barely even drag himself across the floor after fighting with Mousse for even ONE SECOND. Whoo-hoo...score one for the duck-boy! Ranma-chan is less than thrilled at the fight results, though...
"This...this is all for ME?!" Mousse cannot believe his good fortune as he comes in to the Cat Cafe to see a huge feast laid out for him, as Shampoo and Cologne prepare to go off on a trip.
Does THAT look like Shampoo to you? Another mistake, Mousse passionately pours out his heart to a roast pig. We have GOT to get that boy some laser surgery or SOMEthing...

Episode 21: The Dumbest Bet in History!

"What do you THINK we're doing?" Ukyo and Ranma look up from their gambling-training in surprise when an extremely irate and suspicious Akane BURSTS into the room.
"Place your bets!" Nabiki blends RIGHT in with the new casino in the dojo...and gets a job there like immediately. Well, why not, I mean, Ferengi DO tend to own things like casinos, and Nabiki IS a Ferengi in her heart if not her form...
"Welcome to Ucchan's, may I take your order?" Ranma works as a "waitress" AGAIN; this time, for Ukyo, to pay off his many I.O.U.'s.
The poker-face of death! Ranma is having SUCH a hard time not showing his emotions while he plays cards that he resorts to...rather painful methods to train himself out of it...

Episode 22: Kuno Becomes a Marianne!

Azusa Shiratori Wants YOU! Oh, NO! NOOOOOOOO!!! Look who's back! AAACCKKK!!! Noooo! I thought we got rid of her back in early Season Two! Anyway, Azusa's BACK and this time, she's pissed. Strangely, Mikado is never even mentioned during this whole episode. I wonder who dumped who and where he is....'cos EITHER of them would have had plenty of good reasons to dump the other...!
"Tatewaki Kuno + Azusa Shiratori: 2-Gether 4-Ever" A couple that DESERVES each other, if you ask me! YIKES!
"Why, Kuno, I didn't know you were a cross-dresser too!" Kuno, aka "Marianne", shows us his feminine side; courtesy of Azusa's cutesy makeovers. He thinks HE'S conquered HER "innocent feminine heart"; he doesn't quite seem to get the fact that she considers him to be HER property now. In fact, she takes over the whole Kuno house and claims it her own, and cuteifies Sasuke and Mr. Green Turtle as well! Kodachi gets the HELL out of there in time and I frankly don't blame her...

Episode 24: Ling-Ling and Lung-Lung Strike Back!

"What is the meaning of this, you little Amazon twerps?!" The twins SAY that they have beaten Ukyo into submission; this picture shows the REALITY of what happened...
Now here's a twist. From wanting to kill him; to keeping OTHERS from killing him. Here the Ling-Ling and Lung-Lung (pronounced without the "g" sounds; so, Lin-Lin and Lun-Lun) protect Ranma from getting attacked by Ryoga. Why? So that "future husband of big sister Shampoo will be safe!", that's why.
AGAIN? With all the Amazon Death Kisses Akane has gotten, you'd think SOMEBODY'd actually kill her by now...what an incompetent village! (Not that I want her dead. I'm just making a comment about their lack of fighting abilities...)
