INSTALL A FREE AIR FILTER
Delta HF 2.0 Turbo Improvements
STEP ONE:

Choose the filter, then try to find a "U-adapter" to install it where your filter box once was. You can get a ram air hose from a used parts store (you dont have to pay for a new one) if you ask for a Lancia Thema od Kappa U Hose air inteke hose. It also has an outlet for oil fumes and maches perfectly. If you cant find one, then go and get a new one! The diameter should be around 65 to 70 mm.
STEP TWO:

The most important thing you should find, is the metal hose shown. It has 65mm diameter and it is about 6 to 7 centimeters long. What is does is to absorb the heat from the air to the engine intake, and to cool down the rubber hose. It also acts as a link between the two robber hoses for the metal tire up to snatch.
After you find what it takes, then insert if to the hose that pops out of your engine.
STEP THREE:

Insert the small hose that was tied to your filter box into the U-adapter. This tube acts as an oil fume exhaulator, holding the fumes from the filter to the round metal can you see on the far left of the image, right above the World Rally Championship sign.
(This is the cover of the battery; I cant hide my passion, heh;))
STEP FOUR:

When finished, use metal tire ups to strap the hose tight enough to the intake hose of the engine. Have in mind that every free air filter needs servicing every 10 to 15.000 kilometers, so go and purchase a fluid cleaning kit and keep it in your tools. These kind of filters cannot be cleaned with pressurized air because they are made of silk paper and they get pretty damaged with high pressure air.
