Description: Upper parts, head and legs black with long hair. Face black and almost naked. Underparts black black and almost naked. Tail not prehensile. Natural History: They live in tropical forests to 500 meters. Diurnal, arboreal and terestrial. Live in groups up to 8 members. Feeds on fruits and invertebrates. Distribution: In Colombia they live in the Amazon between Caqueta and Putumayo Rivers. Status: Vulnerable (IUCN 2003), Vulnerable (Rodríguez 1998). CITES Apéndice II

Common name: Silvery-brown Bare-face Tamarin Measurements: HB=223-263, T=347-417, HF=68-80, E=24-30, Weight= no data Description: Upper parts brown or yellowish-brown. Face black with some white hairs. A crown of white hairs from brow to hears. No prehensil tail brown with white color on the last part. Hands black with white hairs.. Natural History: They live in tropical forests to 1000 meters. Diurnal, arboreal. Live in groups from up to 15 individuals. Feeds on fruits, insects, flowers and nectar. Distribution: In Colombia they live in the North between the Cauca and Magdalena rivers. Status: Vulnerable (IUCN 2003), Vulnerable (Rodríguez 1998). CITES Apéndice I
