James Willard was born in Kentucky on May 30, 1804. He died in Missouri on August 8, 1895. He was the son of Henry and  Elizabeth (Counts) Willard. James married twice. His first wife was Rachel Jenkins. They had four children: Henry, Elizabeth, Catherine, and Rachel. James' second wife was Elizabeth Jolliff.

Elizabeth Jolliff was born April 4, 1820, she died Oct. 2, 1903. Elizabeth and James had nine children: Lucinda, Issac Green, James E., William Randle, Martha F., Mary Elizabeth, Mary Caroline, Dinah, Missouri Emmaline.

Add Lee Willard was born on January 23, 1907, he died on January 11, 1924. He was the son of William Perry and Edith "Eda" (Goodwin) Willard.

Alfred E. Willard was born on August 10, 1902, and died on December 5, 1918. He was the son of Henry E. and Ann Elizabeth (Nichols) Willard.
