| DAY 1
ROUND 1 OPPONENT: Tim Rethus ARMY: Tau RESULT: Win MISSION: Red Dawn COMMENTS: Once again the first game of the Tournement was when I sent my boys 'The Black Swords' to war!! With this I went in to this battle with a passion to win. What a game.. for the first minute we were laughing our asses off over the most silliest things, Tim was a great person to play, Unfortunatly my army is written to bash tau player! All I did was fly up the field, unload the squads, shoot, smite, melt and then finaly assult. By third turn, the army was broken, by sixth turn, he only had one model left on the board. Hope to play you next year dude! ROUND 2 OPPONENT: Ben Leong ARMY: Death Guard RESULT: Win MISSION: Spy VS. Spy COMMENTS: This game was one to remember for a long time.. I knew it was going to be a good game, filled with heavy losses at the worst times LOL, we kinda guessed it when Ben started the game by firing his Home made Defiler, only killing 2 marines Then one lucky Krak missle from my tactical squad sent it packing ( I ended up rolling 6 to hit, 6 to penatrait, and 6 for a firework display LOL) It was sooooo down to the line on the last turn, but in the end, a lucky crack missle to the head of the last Death Guard gave me the win. ROUND 3 OPPONENT: Steven Callis ARMY: Necrons RESULT: Loss MISSION: Pitch Black COMMENTS: Note to self.. DONT PLAY AGAINST NECRONS.. lets just put it this way.. the lord ened up coming back twice with full wounds..... ouch! Yes... unforunatly I was all wrapped up by the end of the 4th turn.. I knew I had no chance.. The army just didnt stay down... Steve must have been listening to Tubthumping before the match ( you know the song " I get knocked down, but I get up again... ya never gonna keep me down") Good work steve.. but I will have my revenge!....Next year! DAY 2 ROUND 4 OPPONENT: David Umana ARMY: Eldar RESULT: Win MISSION: Thunderhawk Down COMMENTS: Imagine a take and hold mission, but the objective doesnt come on till the second turn ( like reserves) and when it does, it flys on from the short edge of the table 12 D6 !!! David was a good person to play against unfortunatly he was trying to cheat by tempting to make me drool and loose concentration by having his girlfriend with him... it would of worked.. if she had of gotten naked LOL... ROUND 5 OPPONENT: Darren Lim ARMY: Tyranids RESULT: Loss MISSION: The Deul COMMENTS: This was the most fun game I had Ever played! it was on a mad table ( thanks to Cannnonball!) and it came down to a singe dice roll...... it was soooo tence that we had about 20 people around the table to see what all the fuss was about... good work man! and Congratulations on winning the tourniement! ROUND 6 OPPONENT: Rohan Fotheringham ARMY: Deathwing RESULT: Loss MISSION: Fog of War COMMENTS: Damn this was a hard one.. basically our army was split into 3, and we had to destroy each other... Basically not a very pretty site of a game.. with heaps of his units doing damage.. and none of mine doing enoughto finish off a crusader!.. fustrating as all hell.. not to mention the 40+ degrees celceious weather. Nice game Rohan! Dont worry though next year... I am going for 1st place |
