ROUND 1
OPPONENT: Josphe Hanna
ARMY: Khorne Bezerkers
RESULT: Win
MISSION: Meat Grinder
COMMENTS: Once again the first game of the Tournement was when i tryed out my new space marine chapter 'The Black Swords'
And with this I went in to this battle with a passion to win. Josphe came at me in this absoloute carnage with his Beserker army! He sent in his beserkers which my assult marine had a feild day with in combat, My 5 man scout squad came out of a 3 round combat with a jugganought pack to be victorious with no losses. A Bloodthirster decieded that wanted a peice of my Librarian , but my librarian saw diffrently by giving him a pin prick on his toe... then watched him fall to the ground! Thank you Mr. Force Weapon = )
Hope to play you next year dude!

ROUND 2
OPPONENT: Damian Iacono
ARMY: Eldar
RESULT: Loss
MISSION: Meat Grinder
COMMENTS: Note  to self for future refrence.... Never fight a eldar army in a meat grinder. OMG this guy know his stuff and what to take to battle!. His scorpion squad, Dire Advenger Squads, his Wraith Lord, his Avatar and his guardian squads were just to much for normal marine squads to take on .. the sheer fact that he split his army up over the feild gave him the advantage to make it impossible to wipe out squads with a full out attack.. ALthough this was proberly the most fun game that I had on the first day of the tournement.

ROUND 3
OPPONENT: David Kessle
ARMY: Tyranids
RESULT: Draw
MISSION: Cleanse Mission
COMMENTS: Damn! this army was impressive.. seeing this army and the way he set up ... the only thing that i did... was sit back as if it was a shooting gallery. My marines sat back in the deployment zone and waited for the ememy to come to me... and if they got to close.. well my assult squads jumped behind a squad and waited fot it to break and run straight into them.... can you say CROSS FIRE !  oooh yeaaah baby.. unfortunatly this would of been a win unfortunatly... the last 2 turns didnt give me the speed i needed to wrap the army up in a quarter to win the match... it came down to 1 quarter each and 2 undecided ones... Bumer!

ROUND 4
OPPONENT: Neil Dorrey
ARMY: Dark Angels
RESULT: Draw
MISSION: Dusk Assult
COMMENTS: Imagine this... one third of a 4 by 4 table covered with thick jungle terrain , the other quarter with a pyramid with open terrain to mount a whole army on it and let it shoot away.. thats was the situation... unfortunatly.. i was the one stuck in the jungle and it wasn't easy trying to work my way to that pyramid with my whole army being mounted in or on veichles. GO figure!

ROUND 5
OPPONENT: George Kosmes
ARMY: Blood Angels
RESULT: Win
MISSION: Recon Mission
COMMENTS: Note to all Blood Angles players.. dont take tanks that are written up to sit and shoot... cause guarantte that they will move cause of blood rage! oh yeah and also .. dont send a squad of death company with its chaplin and a furoso dready AND  a squad of honour guard onto my Librarian and two squads of assult marines... boy you will just get roshabowed!

ROUND 6
OPPONENT: Andrew Wille
ARMY: Emperors Children
RESULT: Draw
MISSION: Messanger
COMMENTS: Damn this was a hard one.. basically we had to pick 3 models to represent a messanger, a models was take from each of our troop choices . basically we had to get our models off  in the other persons deployment zone with the standard victory points and the same went if we got any of our messangers off also... oh and we get the other persons victory points if we kill their messangers.
Basically not a very pretty site of a game.. with heaps of my units doing damage.. but not enought all the time to finish off a unit.. fustrating as hell.. not to mention the 40+ degrees celceious weather. Nice game Andrew!

Dont worry thought the swords will be back next year for another fight!
