| ROUND 1
OPPONENT: Ramon Saheed ARMY: Codex Space Marines RESULT: Loss MISSION: Meat Grinder COMMENTS: Considering I had no time to play test my new army, I new this would be good going up against a fellow Space Marine Veteran. Although I learnt all of his tricks throughout the game, unfortunately I was two slow on my attacks and My Archon was not fast enough, the games was really close bad news for me it turned to a loss. Next time then hey Ramon! ROUND 2 OPPONENT: Luke ARMY: Ultramarines RESULT: Loss MISSION: Meat Grinder COMMENTS: Being also a fellow Ultramarine player at heart this was going to be tough as his lord with jump pack was ripping everything to pieces, my poor Talos fell to the hands of the false emperors chosen commander. At the end I try to win the game by hiding a squad so I could win by break point. Unfortunately the scouts popped up and the heavy-bolter was unleashed to win the game by one Dark Eldar Warrior falling at the final shot. Good Work Dude Hope to play you next year! ROUND 3 OPPONENT: James ARMY: Chaos Space Marines RESULT: Win MISSION: Cleanse Mission COMMENTS: At first this army look so terrifying, with all Chaos Sorcerers, deamons, and Cultist. But after deciding that hes only long-range weapon was his auto cannon is that he needed to come to me to win the game. So after the second round of shooting for me, all of his boys were now stranded on foot and both of his dreadnoughts were blown sky high I had a chance. At the end of forth turn everything of his was destroyed and I had lost 3 jet-bikes from deamons and 3 warriors from that damn autocannon. Victory for the Kabal! ROUND 4 OPPONENT: Tim Luckman ARMY: Space Wolves RESULT: Loss MISSION: Dusk Assult COMMENTS: Close battle and I must congratulate Tim on his well-painted army, I was so impressive, I think I might decide to do a space wolf army in the distant future. The mission was a Dusk Assult (Like a Dawn Assult but it goes into night fight at the end of the third turn.) It was last turn and it was 1 table quarter a piece and 2 undecided. Well I needed to destroy these two land speeders to win the games, so two Splinter Cannons went to one Land Speeder and two to the other one. At the end of it one was destroyed and one was glanced it came down to one dice roll, unfortunately I rolled a Crew stunned. Bad luck for me, oh well next time. ROUND 5 OPPONENT: Ben Leong ARMY: Khorn Bezerkers RESULT: Win MISSION: Recon Mission COMMENTS: One Of the most friendliest people I played over the two days, He had a nice Looking army and it was well constructed, One of the sexiest looking Chaos Land Raiders I have seen. Unfortunalty I felt sorry on the second turn when 3 out of 4 bike failed their difficult terrain test in the second turn destroying them instantly. Bad luck, and Ben has it in for my red dice as he thinks they have good luck cause they destroyed every vehicle he had in the first turn. ROUND 6 OPPONENT: Brian S ARMY: Codex Space Marines RESULT: Draw MISSION: Rescue Mission COMMENTS: Considering that this guy had a fairly bad structured army from what I could see relying on his 4 Razorbacks and his 2 Whirlwinds I could say this guy was not fun to play with. And the paint job on his miniatures was something to be asked about as they were all sprayed with enamel Paint (ya know the stuff ya use to spray on walls not on models) Oh and thats the best of it! The colour was Fluorescent Yellow! Yes and that was the only colour on his models. My mistakes let me down on this one as I forgot to fleet of foot my lord up the stairs of the bunker to grab the imperial spy so I would have been out of reach for him to stop me. Unfortunalty too many power fists cause my precious Archon to die leaving the game as a Tie. |
