My Summary *spoilers!*
Peach Girl is a manga about two best friends. No one quite understood why
cute, little Sae Kashiwagi hung out with that conceited beach bunny, Momo Adachi.
But they were all under Sae's spell. While Momo tans easily, she is thought to be a beach
bunny, or, slut. And while Sae is petite, cute, charming, and has ivory skin, she is the angel of
the school. Boys practically grovel at her feet, and the girls all want to hang out with her. Sae
Kashiwagi... the perfect rolemodel. Of course, if you were Momo, you'd understand that none of this is actually true.
Sae is a copycat. And she will stop at no ends to get what she wants. Not so bad, though,
right? Especially with her long list of good qualities... but Sae makes it into a big deal. She makes life a living hell for Momo.
Tricking Momo out of everything she wants, and charming the whole school at the same time.
Sae makes her point very clear over a cute bag... but just how low can Sae go to break up any hopes
Momo has of being with Toji, her one true love? VERY low. Imagine lies, "accidental" faliing on toji
"practice" kisses, drugged beverages, manipulation, dressing as Momo, "polite invitations", dug out holes for Toji to fall in,
and even making out with Toji.
But this would become dull with no humor... That's wherer our beloved Kiley Okaysu comes in.
Momo's punching bag, the pervert who stole her first kiss. But also her knight in shining armor.
But Momo is blinded with grief delivered by Sae, and she doesn't realize all that Kiley has
done for her... To sum it up, love, betrayal, surprizes, gross outs, humor, beautiful artwork,
teen angst, and jealousy, all rolled up into cute little mangas.
