Gorean Drinks

Blackwine:
smuggled from urth..expensive drink..grown in the mountains of Thentis...
things you need to serve..tray, small blackwine cup, small saucers of red and yellow sugars, and powdered or fresh bosk milk or fresh cream.
how to serve...get all utensils from the servery..fill the cup/bowl at the firepit..kneel before the person and ask if they wish sugars and powdered bosk milk..if they say *second* it means they wish it black..if they say *yes*..add the sugars and powdered bosk milk..some taverns may have fresh cream or fresh bosk milk to offer..

ka-la-na:
a potent dry white or red wine from th fruit of the ka-la-na tree..white is served chilled...red at room temperature..
things you need to serve it...a goblet and a bota (skin) of ka-la-na..
how to serve it...fill the goblet at Masters/Mistress feet and offer it up...

mulled ka-la-na:
heated ka-la-na..with mulled spices..usually served with a piece of ka-la-na fruit or tospit garnishing the rim..
how to serve...serve in a goblet..the mulled ka-la-na will be in a pot at the firepit or hearth..ladle it into a goblet..garnish the rim..and carry it to the One you serve..

kal-da:
made of ka-la-na wine..mixed with citrus juices and spices..served hot and in a footed bowl..( hot stinging spices..not sweet ones like mulled ka-la-na)
how to serve..ladle from a pot at the fire into the footed bowl and carry it to the person you serve..

ta-wine:
a dry wine made of grapes , served at room temperature..in a goblet.
how to serve..take the goblet and to Masters feet and pour it there..

paga:
a heady, distilled grain alcohol..served warm in a footed bowl...has been described as a lumpy golden liquid...
things you need to serve..a bota of paga and a footed bowl..
how to serve.....poured as you kneel at Masters feet..

sul-paga:
alcoholic beverage akin to vodka, made from suls (similar to potaoes), served in a footed bowl..
how to serve..again..poured from a bota into a footed bowl as you kneel at Masters feet..

Gorean ale:
closer to a honey lager than a true ale or beer..deep gold in color..brewed from the grains of Gor..and hops imported from urth in the early years..served in a goblet..chilled..
how to serve...again..served at Masters feet..in single chilled bottles and poured into a goblet..

Bazi tea:

a herbal beverage served hot and heavily sugared..traditionally drunk in three tiny cups in rapid succession..
things you need to serve..a tray..3 tiny bazi tea cups..saucers of red and yellow sugars..a teapot
how to serve...steep the tea in the teapot..pour out a small amount and test it before going to the Master..kneeling..add sugar to each cup as it is served..offer each cup one at a time..
