This next site is based on the book (generally found in most bookstores), SAMS Teach Yourself HTML and XHTML in 24 hours. There are wonderful sample pages and HTML tags being used to render these sample pages as they would appear. But, the book provides more details, tips and notes than the site does. Give 24-Hour HTML Café a whirl!
Draac's site is an excellent source of HTML tutorials, Javascript goodies, and more web tools to get started on building a great webpage. The site is webtv-friendly and computer-friendly, so there's plenty to go around for everybody. I highly recommend this site as a starting point for anyone who has little or no HTML experience to get some goodies from there.
