| Upcoming events: Two of our boxers, Angel Estrada and Davood Dashtizad, will be competing in the Ringside National Labor Day Championships later this month. It takes place in Olathe, Kansas and lasts from Aug. 29 through Sep. 2. |

| Today, 14-year old Angel Estrada was recognized for his talent and acheivement by KSWB Channel 5 News at Ten. Clips of different excercises from his daily workout, his awards in boxing, as well as, academics, and interviews from him and Coach Estrada were taped. The segment is scheduled to be aired September 9, 2001. |
| Congratulations to both Angel Estrada and Davood Dashtizad for their outstanding performance at the 2001 Ringside National Labor Day Championships. Both boxers made it all the way to the finals, and came home National Champions. Tournament pictures will be posted soon in the picture gallery. |
